Here are the highlights for *Sept 9 - THE SPIRIT HAS BEEN POURED OUT*

*Theme: Joel 2:28* - God promised to pour out His Spirit upon all flesh.

*Highlights:*

- *God's eternal plan unveiled:* It was a shift from His Spirit being upon only a select few to being made available to all humanity.

- *Prophecy fulfilled at Pentecost:* Acts 2:2-4 - the rushing mighty wind, and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost. This changed everything.

- *What this means now:* The Gospel can be preached anywhere with assurance - men and women can receive and believe the truth.

- *The Spirit's role in salvation:* No one truly knows or believes in Jesus without the Holy Spirit. He brings conviction and unveils the righteousness and reality of Christ - John 16:7-8, Matthew 16:15-17

- *How the Father draws men today:* Through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. He is already at work in every city, nation and culture making hearts receptive. John 6:44.

- *Our part:* Never be discouraged when preaching. Our responsibility is to proclaim boldly, knowing the Spirit is the One convicting, convincing, drawing and transforming lives through the message.

_Your diet is not only what you eat. It is also what you listen to, watch, read, and, most importantly, the people you hang out with._

_Food affects your physical health, but these other things affect your mental and spiritual health. That is why you see some people who look good physically are experiencing deep non-clinical depression. You can't eat well, then watch and listen to things that poison your mind. Things that promote ungodliness and expect to feel well. They will poison your soul. You are more than just your body. You are a spirit and have a mind that need to be fed well and protected from junks._

_You will not thrive if you have a well nourished body carrying a malnourished minds. That is the root of many (not all) incidents of depression._

πŸ”΄ Often we think that forgiveness is something we do for someone else, but actually forgiveness is something we do for ourselves. Because it takes more energy to hold onto hurt, guilt, anger, resentment than it does to forgive. When we forgive, we experience peace of mind and free ourselves to move on and move forward.

πŸ”΄ No matter what others do to you; they may spite, revile or criticize you; hold yourself back from responding in pride, anger or bitterness. Hold yourself in; have self-restraint and don't fight back. Silence sometimes is a good medicine. There are over 7billion people in the world. Don't let one ruin your day. A strong person doesn't seek revenge. They just move on. Don't let anyone dull your sparkle. There's so much light within you to light up someone's world. You are a channel of happiness!

I affirm that the word of God is prevailing in my life. I am walking in the supernatural, experiencing streams of financial miracles. The ability of God to get wealth is working in me mightily. Through His word I receive light and direction for my finances. My pathways are ordained of God. Wherever I go, He has strategically positioned men to favour me. No man can resist me. No man can stop me. Nothing shall be impossible unto me. I am involved with projects that bring too much wealth. I am a city set on a hill and cannot be hid. My clouds are full and they are emptying themselves. Big monies are locating me from all directions. Glory!

HOW TO WALK IN GOD'S PERFECT WILL

1️⃣THE FIRST THING YOU REQUIRE IS THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD'S WORD

β–ͺ️Without the knowledge of God’s Word, no one can really understand God’s perfect will. I’d like to read to you from verse 105, chapter 119 in the book of Psalms: β€œThy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

πŸ”ΉGod’s Word gives you direction.

β–ͺ️God’s Word helps you to understand God’s perfect will. That’s why you need to know the Word of God. His Word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path.

2️⃣WALK IN THE SPIRIT

β–ͺ️And then also, Galatians chapter 5 from verse 16, β€œThis I say then, walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. [Galatians 5:16]”

β–ͺ️Walk in the Spirit.

β–ͺ️Walking in the Spirit actually means walking in the light of God’s Word. And so, no matter what your senses tell you, you’ll be able to discern what is God’s perfect will.

β–ͺ️God’s will for your life, a lot of times, can be different from what other signs tell you - from what your feelings would tell you and what other human beings would tell you.

β–ͺ️So, you need to know God’s Word and that’s the only way you can judge what the Spirit of God is telling you, because the Spirit will always tell you what God’s Word says; the Spirit bears witness with the Word.

3️⃣LASTLY, PRAYING IN TONGUES

β–ͺ️If you pray in tongues consistently and continually, your spirit will be attuned to the Spirit of God. Your spirit will be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and it’ll be easier to learn God’s will for your life, God’s direction for your life and to hear, in your spirit, the voice of God.

β–ͺ️So, praying in tongues continually will help you learn this.

β–ͺ️So remember, one is walking in the light of God’s word; and the second thing is through the Holy Spirit.

❗️Every human being has two destinies at work.

The first is the natural human destiny, and the second is the divine destiny.

1️⃣ 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐋 π‡π”πŒπ€π πƒπ„π’π“πˆππ˜

πŸ”΄ The natural human destiny has to do with how you were born, where you were born, the family you came from, and every influence that has shaped your life. It includes your parents, your peers, your environment, your education, and every circumstance surrounding your upbringing.

πŸ”΄ Based on these natural factors, your life can be projected toward either success or failure. That is the natural human destiny. It is the course that appears to be determined by human conditions and earthly influences.

2️⃣ 𝐓𝐇𝐄 πƒπˆπ•πˆππ„ πƒπ„π’π“πˆππ˜

❗️But there is another destinyβ€”the divine destiny.

πŸ”΄ Divine destiny has to do with God's plan and purpose for His Church as it concerns you. It is God's sovereign intervention in the affairs of a man's life. God can step into someone's destiny and give that person His chosen destiny because He intends to use that individual to advance His divine purpose.

πŸ”΄ The remarkable thing is that the person may not even be a Christian. He may not even know God.

> Consider Cyrus.

πŸ”΄ More than two hundred years before he was born, God mentioned him by name and declared what he would accomplish. Imagine that. God revealed the man's future centuries before his birth, all because of His purpose concerning His temple in Jerusalem. Yet Cyrus was not a Jew. He was a Persian king.

> Look also at Saul of Tarsus.

πŸ”΄ God intervened in his life and revealed what he was ordained to do. Everything about that divine intervention was connected to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His life was redirected entirely because of God's eternal purpose.

πŸ”΄ Throughout history, God has intervened in the lives of men and women whenever it served His redemptive plan.
πŸ”΄ Every human being is connected to one of these two destinies. You will follow either the natural human destiny or the divine destiny.

❗️However, God's divine destiny for every person truly begins when that individual comes into Christ.

πŸ”΄ Until then, a man may continue along the path of his natural destiny. But in Christ, he is introduced into God's higher purpose, where his life is no longer governed merely by natural circumstances, but by the eternal plan of God.
