Title - The taking over word.
Sermon by - Ps Malatsi
Scripture - Romans 10vs8
Supporting scriptures - 1 Corinthians 7vs12, Amos 3vs7, Romans 13vs10

What influenced Paul's preaching?

Paul's theology was derived from the old testament.
His theology was also based on Christ.
His theology was also based on his experiences.

Heart, mouth, sight connection. Believe in your heart, confess with your mouth and see the goodness of God.

We need to saturate our hearts with the word to an extent that the word comes out every time we open our mouths.

Preserve the word and it will preserve you.
Hold on to the word, it will on to you.

May God help us to hold on to the word, believe and confess it all times.

Title - Wisdom to take over.
Sermon by - Ps Malatsi
Scripture - James 1vs5
Supporting scriptures - Acts 12vs1-3, 15vs12, 1 Corinthians 9vs8-9, Ephesians 6vs2, Romans 13vs10, Proverbs 9vs10, Luke 2vs52, 1 Kings 3vs5 and 9, 10vs10,

Who wrote the book of James? It was written by James, the half-brother of Jesus. James' book is the regarded as the Proverbs of the new testament. It reveals the practicality of faith.

Lacking wisdom expresses a need for wisdom. It is this need that brings us closer to God. However, our relationship with God should not just be based on needs. The need will not sustain the relationship. We need to get to a stage of partnership with God.

Wisdom as a need.
1. Wisdom enables us to cooperate with God. We cannot work with him apart from wisdom.
2. God uses wisdom to access our lives or minds.

What is wisdom?
1. Knowledge gained by having experience in life.
2. Natural ability to understand things that are confusing to other people.
3. Knowledge of what is proper and reasonable.

Based on Proverbs, wisdom is God's intervention in humanity's decision making processes. It begins with God. When we follow God's way of doing things, we gain wisdom. It will save you a lot of time and energy if you choose to listen to God.

Asking from God - It refers to prayer. We need to pray for wisdom.

According to Apostle Nzo, prayer is asking the Father in the name of Jesus.

Wisdom comes as a result of prayer. Wisdom is the ability to make right decisions.

Results of wisdom.

1. To take over new territories, we need wisdom.
2. With wisdom comes wealth.
3. You become a solution provider.

Amen!

Title - The art of skilfulness.
Sermon by - Ps Mfeka
Scripture - Genesis 3vs 1-6, Revelations 12vs9, Matthew 10vs16.

The first question in the Bible did not come from God, not from Adam and not from Eve. The first question came from the deceiver in a form of a serpent. His question was meant to cause doubt.

Although the serpent was used by the devil for the fall of men. God wants us to use the skilfulness of the serpent to take over new territories.

A serpent is a skillful animal. It can see danger from afar. It calculates what needs to be done. The serpent knows when to fight or flight.

We need to be blameless like sheep.
Innocent as a dove.
And be wise as serpents.

As we advance and take new territories, we need to show Christian character.
The more God blesses us, the more we should be humble.

Glory to God!

Benefits of being known by God.

Title - Remain connected.
Sermon by - Mrs Phaleng
Scripture - Psalm 138 vs8, 1 Peter 5vs7, Psalm 1vs1-3, Daniel 10vs12-13, Psalm 56vs8.

The Lord is able to complete, perfect whatever work he's started in your life. He will destroy anything that torments you. He will put to end whatever that is bothering you. He has power to break every yoke. He knows everything about us.

If we remain in him, we shall ask anything from God and He will do it for us. It does not matter what you are facing, bring it to the Lord. He will permanently deal with the situation.

We should be like a tree that is planted by the water, we shall remain green always. Let us be firm and not be moved by challenges of life.

God has noted everything that you have done for the kingdom. All answers are provided for every time we pray.

Declare the word of God over your situation.
Lift your eyes unto Jesus, where your help will come from.
Call upon him, He will answer.
Don't despair.
Don't lose hope.
Tell him, in the secret place. He will answer you.

Amen.

Title - My soul is anchored.
Sermon by - Ps Malatsi
Scripture - Hebrews 6vs19-20, Psalm 61vs2, Isaiah 55vs12, Phillipians 4vs6-7,

We are linked to God because of the hope that we have in him. This hope takes us into God's inner sanctuary.

The writer of Hebrews encourages us to to stick to Christ. He shows that what we have in Christ is far better than sticking to the laws of Moses.

What is an anchor - A device attached to a ship or boat, it meant to stabilize the ship or keep at one position. An anchor will keep the ship stable even when waves come.

We all face trials and tribulations, but as long as we remain anchored to Christ, we shall overcome.

The soul - It is made of mind, will and emotions.

God does not communicate to us through feelings or emotions. Feelings are bound to change. He communicates through inner spirit.

Hope - Is to cherish a desire with anticipation. To want something to happen or to be true. Hope can only anticipate, but cannot change anything.

Two major reasons to have hope.
1. It is necessary to keep alive. Without hope, people lose meaning in life.
2. Hope is healthy for your sanity.
Your mind, will and emotions depend on hope.

Hope versus faith.
Hope says - I'm anticipating things to change.
Faith says - I am doing something to change the situation.

Faith is active. It will cause you to do something about your situation.

Glory to Jesus.

Title - Filters on the word.
Sermon by - Ps Malatsi
Scripture - Luke 8vs11-15, Jeremiah 17vs10, Psalm 18vs12, Psalm 64vs6, Romans 10vs9, Amos 3vs7, Hebrews 11vs3,

We can all hear the same word, but how you hear the word will determine if the word would change your life.

What are filters? A filter is a device that is used to remove something that is unwanted. The purpose of a filter is to stop something from passing through.

Filters are obstacles that the devil place to stop the word of God from working in our lives.

Social media is one of the filters that is used to kill our faith. We need to be careful about what we consume on these platforms.

Luke 8 - The seed is the word, the heart is the ground.

Biblical anthropology - how do we relate to God?
Bible descriptions of the heart.
1. The heart is part of the soul where decisions are made.
2. It is the center of men, where the spirit is located.

Hamartiology - study of sin. It teaches us that we were all born in sin. Since it is in our nature to sin, we need our hearts to be regenerated.

How does God rescue us? He uses his word.
Only when you are restored, you will be able to see the value in God's word.

The value of the word.
1. It is foundational to our success story. We all to recieve the word, believe the word, act on the

How does the word work?
1. The word limits God's activity in the world.
2. It allows God's involvement in our lives.
3. It defines how much God can be involved in our lives. The word is meant to stretch your faith.
4. It is our vehicle to eternal life.
5. The word informs our involvement in the plan of God.

How does the word operate in our lives?
The word becomes effective when mixed with faith.
Our lives are framed by the word of God.

How you hear the word of God, determines how fruitful you will become.

Glory to Jesus.

Sunday service highlights 19 November 2023.
Title - Believing if of the heart.
Sermon by - Mr Linda Dhladhla
Scripture - Romans 10vs9-10, Mark 9vs14-24, Matthew 13vs3-8, 2 Timothy 1vs12

What is believing?
It is to be convinced of something. To be certain and sure without a doubt.

Many people don't reach their full potential due to lack of belief. What you believe in your heart will override what you believe in your mind.

What do you believe in your heart about this year's theme - Abraham's blessings?
Do you believe that you deserve these blessings?
Have we allowed our experience to dictate to us on what to believe.

Where is your belief located? Is it in the mind or in your heart?
If we believe in our hearts, nothing and no one can convince us otherwise.

Our heads are the thorny ground, way side, hard place. But your heart is fertile ground (Matthew 13)

When last did you believe in your heart?
Let the word of God enter your heart.
It is time to believe in your heart.
It is our responsibility to believe the word.
It is important to spend time on the word.
It is all about whom do you believe.

Glory to Jesus!
