🔗Proverbs 8
🔗Isaiah 26-27
🔗Mark 13
🔗Psalm 10

💎Prov.8.18 - Riches and honor are with me, Enduring riches and righteousness.
💎Prov.8.19 - My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold, And my revenue than choice silver.
💎Prov.8.20 - I traverse the way of righteousness, In the midst of the paths of justice,
💎Prov.8.21 - That I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth, That I may fill their treasuries.
💎Prov. 8.22 - “The LORD possessed me at the beginning of His way, Before His works of old.”
💎Prov 8:34-35 - “Blessed is the man who listens to me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoever finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the LORD;”
💎Isaiah 26:3 - “You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.”

*💡Exhortation:*
In Proverbs 8:19, we are taught that the fruit of wisdom surpasses the value of gold and in verse 22 that in the beginning God possessed wisdom (not gold). It seems there is something really special about this wisdom🤔.

*1̲)̲ ̲W̲h̲o̲ ̲a̲n̲d̲ ̲w̲h̲a̲t̲ ̲i̲s̲ ̲w̲i̲s̲d̲o̲m̲?̲*: From the evidence in Proverbs 8:22, Proverbs 8:35, and John 1:2, we can conclude that wisdom is Jesus and, more practically, accepting Christ as the Messiah. In John 1:2 we see that Christ is the Word and He was in the beginning just like in Proverbs 8:22, so wisdom is Christ and being in Him.

*2̲)̲ ̲W̲h̲y̲ ̲d̲o̲ ̲w̲e̲ ̲n̲e̲e̲d̲ ̲w̲i̲s̲d̲o̲m̲?̲*: Besides all the awesome blessings in verse 18, verse 35 answers that best by showing that if we find wisdom, we find life and favor from God. That means finding wisdom here is finding Jesus. Why is that so? Because Christ is the bread of life, and if you believe in Him you are reconciled to the Father, hence finding favor with God.

*3̲)̲ ̲W̲h̲e̲r̲e̲ ̲t̲o̲ ̲f̲i̲n̲d̲ ̲w̲i̲s̲d̲o̲m̲?̲*: If you want to book an appointment with wisdom, you will find it in the ways of righteousness and paths of justice (Proverbs 8:20).

*4̲)̲ ̲H̲o̲w̲ ̲t̲o̲ ̲p̲u̲r̲s̲u̲e̲ ̲w̲i̲s̲d̲o̲m̲?̲*: To pursue wisdom we have to:
• Listen to Him, meaning read the Word of God! (Proverbs 8:34)
• Watch daily, meaning abide in Him every day! (Proverbs 8:34)
• Wait on Him, meaning acknowledging Jesus as our only option and source of everything! (Proverbs 8:34)
• Have our minds stayed on Him, meaning guarding what we read, say, listen to, and watch so that it can bear the fruit of perfect peace! (Isaiah 26:3)

May this encourage someone that Jesus (wisdom) is more valuable than gold, jewels, and anything we could ever desire, hence our efforts for Christ are not in vain and our hope will not be cut off.

*🙏Prayer:*
Thank you Jesus for Your word and for reconciling me back to the Father by your sacrifice. Today I ask that You may teach me to walk practically in wisdom by pursuing You. Holy Spirit, may You guide me so that I may be found awake and as a good and faithful servant when Jesus the bridegroom returns again. Amen. 🙏

Isaiah 24-25
Psalms 9
Mark 12
Proverbs 7

“he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people’s disgrace from all the earth. The LORD has spoken. In that day they will say, “Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.””
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭25‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“The LORD reigns forever; he has established his throne for judgment. He rules the world in righteousness and judges the peoples with equity.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭9‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Now about the dead rising—have you not read in the Book of Moses, in the account of the burning bush, how God said to him, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are badly mistaken!””
‭‭Mark‬ ‭12‬:‭26‬-‭27‬ ‭NIV‬‬

*Exhortation*
God takes note of the matters of His people. Mark 12 reminds us that He is the God of the living not the dead, meaning He is concerned with the matters of the living. We have the privilege of knowing that our matters get presented before a righteous judge: He is not corrupt, unfair, neither does He hold any ulterior motives. This gives us the confidence to present our issues before Him: “ I can bring this matter of …… before Him because I know He hears, He judges righteously and He is faithful”. For some it may be health, it may be their jobs, the salvation of their loved ones etc. What is it for you? What is it that you say:
*“ I can bring this matter of …… before Him because I know He hears, He judges righteously and He is faithful”.* Bring it to the righteous Judge.

*Prayer*
Father, thank you for hearing us. Thank you that You are a righteous Judge, who judges with equity. Thank you for the confidence we now have that when we call to You, You hear us. You do all things well, Dear God. And that includes handling our matters. We can rest in you, and know our matters are safe in your hands. Thank you Jesus. In the name of Jesus, that is above every other name we pray, amen. 🙏🏽

Isaiah 20:5
Psalm 7
Proverbs 5
Mark 10:38-40

Scriptures
__Isaiah 20:5__Those who trusted in Cush and boasted in Egypt will be afraid and put to shame.

_Psalms 7:9_O righteous God,who searches minds and hearts, bring to an end the violence of the wicked.

_Proverbs 5:18_May your fountain be blessed and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth.

_Mark 10:38-45
38 You don’t know what you’re asking “Jesus said. Can you drink the cup I drink or be baptized with the baptism i am baptized with?”

_39_”We can ,they answered,Jesus said to them,”.You will drink the cup I drink and be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with,

(40)but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared.”

(41)When the ten heard about this ,they became indignant with James and John .

(42)Jesus called them together and said,”You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them ,and their high officials exercise authority over them.

(43)Not so with you ,instead whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,

(44)and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.

(45)For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

_Exhortation 🗣️_Mark 10:38-45
In this Chapter we see The Disciples that they’ll want to drink the cup and baptized with the same baptism which Jesus was going to be baptized with.in the OT the cup of wine was a common metaphor for God’s wrath against human sin and rebellion,Accordingly the cup Jesus Christs had to drink refers and remind us the divine punishment of sins that he bore in place of sinful mankind and the image of baptism is parallel to that of the cup ,referring to his suffering and death as a baptism.and on verse (40) He spoke about it’s not for him to grant positions, then the Ten disciples became indignant possibly because they desired the positions of prestige and power for themselves and on verse (43)Jesus overturns the value structure of the world. The life of descipleship is to be characterized by humble and loving service this teaches us that,as Disciplined followers of Christ we need to be humble and show love,in whatever we do,wherever we go Humbleness and loving must be a reflection and we must have Christ
character, verse (45) Teaches us that Jesus came to this world as a servant-indeed ,the servant-who would suffer and die for our redemption,as Isaiah clearly predicted on Isaiah 52:13-53:12 Jesus gave his life to release us from bo***ge to sin and death for that is,”in place of ,” pointing to Christ’s substitutionary death ,in contrast “To the one life given for our ransom”

🙏🏻Prayer:::ABBA Father we thank you,for choosing us,to be the Disciplined followers of your Son Jesus Christ,God all mighty help us to Humble, and loving unconditionally, for you sent your only begotten son to set us free from bo***ge,He suffered and die for our redemption, help us lord not to rely on position of prestige and power but, lead us serve you wholeheartedly, for you give grace to humble and opposes the proud we thank you for your word that is a live, quick and active, continue to guide us with your word Father that is a lamp unto to our path in Jesus Mighty name…

Amen 🙏🏻….

Daily Bible Reading 📖

Chapters:
Isaiah 18-19
Psalms 6
Proverbs 4
Mark 9

Scriptures:
‭Mark 9:17-18, 20, 22-27 KJV‬
[17] _And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit_ ; [18] _and wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not_ .
[20] _And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming_ .
[22] _And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us_ . [23] _Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth_ . [24] _And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief._ [25] _When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him_ . [26] _And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead_ . [27] _But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose_ .

Insights:
The disciples couldn't cast out the spirit that was tormenting a child. I dont know the reason why they could not free him: though Jesus said to pray and fast,
The disciples had probably performed some great miracles before and I think at this point they were very comfortable and tried to cast out the spirit casually and it didnt work.
I am glad that when Jesus came the spirit had to leave. And at the mention of His name, may our prayers be answered, may the sick be healed, may the troubles be solved, may the weak find strength, may the sorrowful find joy, and may there be peace unspeakable.

Prayer:
Father I thank you today, thank you for the Gift that you have given us: your son Jesus Christ. Thank you that at the mention of His name demons flee, the sick are healed and people's lives are transformed.
We bring our families to Jesus, our works to Jesus, our relationships to Jesus, our careers to Him.
May there be peace, righteousness and joy every day of our lives as we Glorify His name. May the bound be released in the name of Jesus. May the poor become rich in His name. May those who are down find comfort in His presence and may His presence minister the Kingdom to us every moment. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen 🙏

📖Isaiah 16-17
📖Mark 8
📖Psalms 5
📖Proverbs 3

*Isaiah 17KJV*

The Judgment on Israel

4 And in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean.

5 And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn, and reapeth the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim.

6 Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the Lord God of Israel.

7 At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.

8 And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect that which his fingers have made, either the groves, or the images.

12 Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!

13 The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.

14 And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.

*Mark, 8 KJV*

35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

*Psalms 5 KJV*

1 Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation.

2 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.

3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

12 For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

*Proverbs 3 KJV*

1My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

9 Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:

10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

11 My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction:

12 For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

32 For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous.

33 The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.

34 Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.

35 The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools.

*Exhortation*

Let us Trust in the Lord with all our hearts. In all our ways acknowledging him, and let him direct our paths. For only The wise shall inherit his glory. Jesus Christ states that there's no profit if a man, shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul, because there's no exchange for ones soul, the only thing is for us not to be ashamed of words of Christ for God not to rebuke them us.

*Prayer* 🙏🏾

JEHOVAH God our Father, make us to stand firm on your word. Guide us through by the power of Holy Ghost and In Christ Jesus name. Amen

Daily Bible Reading Appetiser 2/9/ 2026
📖 Isaiah 14 - 15
📖 Mark 7
📖 Psalms 3 - 4
📖 Proverbs 2

Psalm 3:3-6 ESV
[3] But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. [4] I cried aloud to the Lord, and he answered me from his holy hill. Selah [5] I lay down and slept; I woke again, for the Lord sustained me. [6] I will not be afraid of many thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around.

*Exhortation*
David wrote this Psalm during a time of great trouble. Enemies surrounded him, betrayal had taken place, and his circumstances gave him many reasons to fear. Yet David made a decision to put his confidence in God. You may not know what today will bring, but i want you to know . *Who goes before you.*
*3 O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head,* Today, don't begin your day focusing on everything that could go wrong. Begin by remembering that God is with you and He is able to protect you. *He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask ,think, or imagine*
Perhaps you woke up carrying past disappointment, pressure. unanswered prayers or questions. Don't allow yesterday to determine your posture today.
*God can lift your head again.*
Walk into today with courage. Your circumstances may not have changed yet, but your confidence can change because *God has not changed. He is the same yesterday today and forever.*

*4“I cried to the LORD with my voice, And He heard me from His holy hill.”*
Your prayer is not falling into empty space.
God hears you.
Before you speak to people about your problems today, speak to God. Before you worry about what you can not control, *surrender it to Him.*
Verse 5 David was able to sleep, yet he was surrounded by trouble because he trusted God's protection
Today declare that *“The Lord sustained me through the night, and He will sustain me through this day.”*
*6“I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who have set themselves against me all around.”*
Fear says, “Look at how many things are against me.”
*Faith says, “Looks at how great my God is.”*

Don't measure your future by the size of your troubles. Measure it by the greatness of your God. How great is our God

Prayer 🙏🏽
Father God, we thank You for this day, for this is the day that You have made, and we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Thank You that we are walking in victory because You are with us. You have promised never to leave us nor forsake us.
Father, we thank You because You are bigger than every problem, greater than every challenge, and stronger than every opposition we may face today. You are our shield, our glory, and the One who lifts up our heads.
Today, we choose faith over fear, peace over anxiety, and trust over worry. Go before us, guide our steps, protect us, and give us wisdom in everything we do.
In the name Jesus, Amen.🙏

Daily Bible Reading Appetisers for today, 01/09/2026

* Isaiah 12-13
* Mark 6
* Psalms 1-2
* Proverbs 1

Today, we are encouraged to remain rooted in God. Across these passages, we see a powerful reminder that God is our salvation, our source, our wisdom, and our King. Though the world may rage, circumstances may shift, and voices may compete for our attention, those who put their trust in the Lord will not be shaken.

* Psalm 1 paints the picture of a tree planted by streams of water; rooted, fruitful, and steadfast regardless of the season.
* Proverbs 1 reminds us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, while Mark 6 challenges us to move beyond simply hearing the Word and walk in obedience to what Jesus has spoken.

📍May we remain deeply rooted in God’s Word, drawing our strength from Him and trusting Him even when we cannot see what lies ahead.
📍Let our circumstances never determine our confidence, and let the noise around us never drown out the voice of God.
📍May we be a people who trust Him, hear Him, obey Him, and remain planted in Him🌱

🙏 *Prayer*🙏

_Father, thank You for being my salvation, my strength, my source, and my King. Help me to remain deeply rooted in Your Word and firmly planted in Your presence. When storms arise, teach me to trust You rather than fear what I cannot see._

_Give me wisdom to recognise Your voice and a willing heart to obey what You have spoken.May my life be like the tree planted by streams of water—steadfast in every season, continually growing, and bearing fruit that brings glory to Your name. Let Your Word take deep root in my heart and shape the way I live each day._

In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏🏾

*PS: If you haven’t already, do make some time to go through the Scriptures for yourself.*

_Allow God to speak to you personally and reveal His Word to you._
_May His Word take root in our hearts and bear fruit in our lives🙏🏾_

*“He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water…”* Psalm 1:3
