We discovered what each piece of God’s armor means and how we can stand strong, choose truth, protect our hearts, trust God and live boldly for Jesus!

FAITH THAT REMAINS

What happens when you believe God… but He doesn’t do what you expected Him to do?

What happens when the harvest doesn’t come?
When everything feels like it’s falling apart?
When you find yourself in the fire?

You keep your faith.

From Job, Habakkuk, Paul, and Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego, we were reminded that genuine faith isn’t dependent on an outcome.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego said, “Even if He does not…” — they still refused to bow.

Job declared, “Though He slay me, yet will I hope in Him.”

Habakkuk chose to rejoice in God even when there was no harvest.

And Paul reminds us that nothing can separate us from the love of God.

Because faith that remains says:

Even if.
Even when.
Even though.
I STILL TRUST GOD.

Our faith isn’t anchored in what God does for us.
Our faith is anchored in who God is.

On 6 September at 2:30pm, we’re heading to Small Bay Park, Blouberg Strand for a spring dip! 🌊

Cold water. Good people. Lots of laughs. And probably a few people questioning their life choices when they hit the water. 😂

I’M COMING HOME.

This past Sunday, JP Beukes brought a deeply challenging and honest word from Luke 15.

Sometimes we want the Father’s things without the Father.

We want the blessing, the provision, the inheritance, but we don’t want the relationship.

And sometimes, like the prodigal son, we have to reach the place where we finally come to our senses and realise:

Home was never about what was waiting for us.
Home was always about WHO was waiting for us.

The son rehearsed his apology.

He thought he had to come back as a servant.

But the Father wasn’t standing at the door with condemnation.

He was running.

Before shame could reach him,
grace had already run ahead.

Before he could finish his speech,
the Father had already embraced him.

Because this is the heart of our Father:

The lost can come home.
The broken can come home.
The ashamed can come home.
The wandering can come home.

And maybe today, that’s exactly what someone needs to hear:

You can come home.
