🤗 On this special Mother’s Day, our District Rector, SH Pillay, visited our congregation.

Using Philippians 3:13–14 as the foundation of the service, he reminded us to remain focused on our spiritual race and not be distracted. Pr Theron also served alongside him.

After the service, all mothers received a special token of appreciation.

To all our mothers, thank you for your love, sacrifice, and dedication. We love and appreciate you!

🙌🏼 Tonight, we welcomed SH Gavin Gaskin into our congregation as part of the District Cross-Booking.

Using Luke 22: 28-29 as basis for the midweek service, SH Gaskin, Rector of Wynberg Congregation, expressed to the congregants that as followers of Christ, we will face temptation just as He did.

However, through steadfast faith, we will emerge victorious. No matter the circumstances, Christ is at our side.

The Young People Divine Service held in Plumstead Congregation was a blessed and uplifting gathering for our young brothers and sisters.

District Rector Pillay, assisted by Priest van Wyk, Priest Rodrigues and Priest Warley, served using the Bible word from Matthew 6:33, reminding the youth to seek first the kingdom of God and trust in His guidance.

The service was enriched by a heartfelt Bible reading and a beautiful special musical item that added to the blessing.

May the lessons shared continue to inspire our youth to remain steadfast in faith, love, and devotion to God in their daily lives.

🤩🙏Earlier this week, our Young People, Parents, and Ministers meeting was held in our congregation.

Under the theme Church Is Not the Same Without You, the evening was all about saying thank you to parents and ministers for supporting and guiding the Young People in God's House.

There was a beautiful sense of warmth and appreciation, with interactive moments that will leave everlasting memories.

Our Young People are not just the future, they are a vibrant part of the church and it was special to celebrate that together.

✝️🐣 Our Easter Divine Service conducted by our Rector, SH Graham Dreyer, centered around the theme of Mary Magdalene’s encounter with the risen Christ.

The Bible text was John 20: 17-18, where Jesus tells Mary Magdalene - the first witness to His resurrection - to share the news of His return from the dead.

The service was enriched by a Bible reading of Mark 16: 1-15 and a soul-touching musical item rendered by two sisters.

Both SH Dreyer and assisting Pr Ian Durant reflected on the profound truth that through Jesus’ suffering, death, and resurrection, the debt for our sins was paid - fulfilling God’s divine plan for humanity.

The service concluded on a triumphant note, with the choir and brass delivering a magnificent performance of He Comes, The Hero Strong.

Our Good Friday Divine Service, conducted by Priest John Rodriques, was a deeply moving and spirit-filled gathering.

The powerful message, derived from John 19: 30, spoke of Christ’s sacrifice.

It resonated in many hearts and it was beautifully complemented by the uplifting voices of the choir and the soul-quenching harmonies of the orchestra.

From solemn reflection to a warm, festive atmosphere, the service reminded us of the depth of God’s love and grace. We were also blessed with meaningful fellowship after the service, sharing in unity and faith as a community.
