I was honoured to attend the centenary celebrations of the Christian Life Church Camps Bay and the official opening of their beautifully renovated church hall. ⛪️

Congratulations on 100 years of faith and service. Thank you for inviting me to join your celebrations and church service. 🙏

100 years. Countless stories. One faithful God.

Looking back through old photographs and connect cards from 1926, we’ve been amazed by the faithfulness of God. Generation after generation, people have encountered Jesus, and through it all, His promises have remained true.

“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.” — Isaiah 40:8

As we celebrate 100 years of God’s faithfulness, we’re filled with gratitude for all He has done and even more expectant for what lies ahead. We believe God is just getting started.

Join us next Sunday, 2 August 2026, as we celebrate this incredible centenary milestone and the reopening of our church hall. We’d love for you to be part of this special moment as we honour God’s faithfulness and look forward to all He has in store.

This Sunday, Jason took us through 1 Corinthians and the challenging topic of food offered to idols. It was a powerful reminder that while we have been given incredible freedom in Christ, our freedom should always be guided by love and a desire to honour God.

As followers of Jesus, our lives are a reflection to those around us. The choices we make, the words we speak, and the things we participate in all point people toward or away fromChrist.

Before we do anything, may we pause and ask ourselves:
Does this honour God?
Does this bring glory to His name?
Will this help others see Jesus more clearly?

If the answer is no, then perhaps it’s something we shouldn’t be taking part in.

May we use our freedom not for ourselves, but to glorify God in every area of our lives.

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”— 1 Corinthians 10:31
