On Sunday 14 June, after our church service, we will be facilitating baptisms at Strand Beach (the Merkava Coffee entry). Why are we so excited about this? Well, because being baptized is a powerful symbol of what Jesus has done in your life! When you go under the water, it represents dying to your old way of living. And when you come up, it’s a picture of being raised to a brand-new life with Christ. Baptism doesn’t save us, but it shows the world that we belong to Jesus. It’s an outward sign of an inward transformation.
