St Mary Magdalene Guild Robbing Service 🙏🏽⛪

Today, we had the honour and privilege of celebrating the **Robing Service of the St Mary Magdalene Guild**.

We were truly honoured by the presence of many guests and supporters who joined us in worship. We welcomed members of the Guild from **St Peter’s, Khayelitsha**, members of the ** *Methodist Young Woman's Manyano Curcuit 110, as well as members from **St Claire’s, Ocean View**, and many others who came to support and worship with us.

It was a beautiful reminder that, regardless of our different congregations and denominations, we can come together in **unity, fellowship and love to worship God**.

We sincerely thank everyone who joined us and contributed to making this special occasion a memorable one.

A Blessed Feast Day at St Clare of Assisi

Today, we celebrated a truly blessed and joyful Sunday at St Clare of Assisi in Ocean View as we commemorated the Feast Day of St Clare.

Our celebration began with a March of Celebration, followed by a beautiful and uplifting worship service. We were deeply blessed by the ministry of our guest preacher, The Reverend Canon Michael Weeder, who shared a powerful message from Genesis 45:1–15, reminding us of the importance of forgiveness, reconciliation, and trusting God’s purpose.

Like Joseph, who chose forgiveness over bitterness and reconciliation over revenge, may we also learn to release the hurts of the past and allow God’s love to restore our relationships. “What was meant for harm, God can use for good.” — Genesis 50:20

We sincerely thank Reverend Canon Michael Weeder for sharing God’s Word with us and for blessing our congregation through his ministry.

May the Lord continue to strengthen and guide him, and may God richly bless him and his family.
