Thanksgiving 2025

On 24 August, District Rector Bernard Scholtz served the congregation of Pelican Park.

During the Divine Service, one soul was adopted into the New Apostolic Faith. Thereafter, DR Scholtz placed Priest Joseph Frank into retirement, thanking him for 28 years of serving in the ministry and wished him well.

After a blessed Divine Service, the congregation celebrated with fellowship.

On Sunday, 17 August, five souls received the blessing of Holy Baptism. The choir concluded this special divine service with the hymn Father of our fathers.

The Bible text used was taken from Numbers 14:8 “if the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, a land which flows with milk and honey”
