Church of the Nazarene - Bethany CT SA We are a local Nazarene Church situated in Grassy Park/ Lotus River. We believe and serve the Triune God. This frames the global mission of the denomination.

The Church of the Nazarene is an evangelical Christian denomination that emerged from the 19th-century Wesleyan-Holiness movement in North America.[1] With its members commonly referred to as Nazarenes, it is the largest Wesleyan-Holiness denomination in the world and a member of the World Methodist Council. The global mission of the Church of the Nazarene since its beginnings has been "to respond

to the Great Commission of Christ to 'go and make disciples of all nations' (Matthew 28:19)". In December 2006, this was expressed more precisely as "to make Christlike disciples in the nations". In 2009 the General Assembly indicated in its revision of Article XI of the Manual the means for accomplishing its mission: "making disciples through evangelism, education, showing compassion, working for justice, and bearing witness to the kingdom of God." The mission of the Church of the Nazarene is to make Christlike disciples in the nations. The denominational vision is: "to be a disciple-making church, an international community of faith, in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition."

🍞 100 Loaves. One Community. One Heart. 🤎

This Youth Day, Alpha Squad Youth wants to turn gratitude into generosity.

We have been blessed in so many ways, and now we want to give back by reaching families in our community with a simple act of love. Our goal is to collect 100+ loaves of bread and distribute them to those who need them most.

A loaf of bread may seem small, but to someone facing hunger, it can be a reminder that they are seen, valued, and loved.

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat..." – Matthew 25:35

If you would like to donate a loaf (or more!) and help us make a difference this Youth Day. Please be in touch with one of our leaders.

December is here and by GRACE we have made it. May this month be a month of reflection, grace overflowed, and seeing God’s glory even in the trials.

As the year comes to a close, we look back and see His hand in every high and every low, faithfully guiding, shaping, and strengthening us.
