John 14:15-17 MSG
[15-17] “If you love me, show it by doing what I’ve told you. I will talk to the Father, and he’ll provide you another Friend so that you will always have someone with you.
The message teaches that the Holy Spirit lives within christian and empowers them to live by faith rather than being controlled by worldly limitations.
• The Holy Spirit guides you: Your relationship with God affects your thoughts, decisions, and daily life.
• Worldly limitations aren’t God’s limitations: Circumstances, environment, and human knowledge may limit us, but God’s power is greater.
• The Spirit brings life: Believers are encouraged to trust God for strength, healing, restoration, and freedom from fear.
• Prayer and tongues build you up: Praying in the Holy Spirit is presented as a way to strengthen your faith and depend on God throughout everyday life.
• Faith means trusting before seeing: Faith involves confidently acting on what you believe God has promised rather than waiting for visible evidence.
• You don’t need “more” faith: Even genuine faith that seems small can accomplish great things; the focus is on trusting God rather than striving to earn His approval.
• The central message: Rely on the Holy Spirit, pray, exercise faith, and trust God instead of allowing fear, circumstances, or worldly limitations to control your life.
