In Psalms 112v7 the Bible says, "He shall not be afraid of evil tidings : his heart is fixed trusting in the Lord", Does this Scripture describe you brothers and sisters if I may ask you?

Brothers and sisters always remember that without faith you can do nothing, with faith all things are possible for you. Faith doesn't consider circumstances but the faithfulness of God Himself to His believers. Have faith in God like heroes of faith in God whom I mentioned in this message, take note non of them doubted God's ability to come through for them even in hopeless circumstances, their conviction is God is faithful He doesn't change. Thus why the Psalmist said that they that trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion which cannot be shaken.

May the Lord give us understanding of who He is according to His word in Jesus name. May we Learn from these heroes of faith what it means to have faith in God even in the face of contrary circumstances.

WHEN YOU HAVE FAITH IN GOD ALMIGHTY.

Psalms 112 v7

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings :his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord"

Brothers and sisters in the Lord, your faith shall make the impossible possible in your life in the name of Jesus Christ.
Faith is an indespensable tool in the life and journey of every believer. It is an active trust in God, a belief that what He says is true, resulting in an action. Jesus said, "Have faith in God Mark 11 v22. In John 14v1 the Bible also says" Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in me. Fear is the enemy faith, but when you feed your faith you will starve your fear.

When you have faith in God, the following benefits will accrue to you. First you will continue to trust God, even when things looks hopeless. Having lost His wealth, family and health, Jobs said " Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him" (Job 13v15).He was a man of faith. In the face of a great trial Misheck, Shadreck and Abednego demonstrated unusual faith when they diclared to King Nebuchadnezzar "Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace and He will deliver us out of thine hand, O king Daniel 3v16.God honored their faith and send great deliverance to them. Things looked hopeless for Abraham and Sarah. At 100 and 90 respectively, the couple were still looking up to God for their promised child. The Bible affirms that against all hope, believed in hope that he might receive the promise. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief. His faith was rewarded with lsaac.

Secondly You will be undully shaken or alarmed at bad news. Faith helps us to be calm and unruffled. When the child of the shunamite woman died, her remark to those who asked what had happened was it is well". Also, when King Hezekiah got a disturbing letter of the impending invasion from King Sennacherib, he took it to God's temple and prayed to the one who is mighty to serve.

BE BOLD TO TELL THE DEVIL OFF HE HAS BEEN DEFEATED.

Colosians 1v12 - 13

Giving thanks unto the Father, which has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light :who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear son.

Good morning brothers and sisters in the Lord. Take note that our opening verse is in the past tense, meaning that this is not a promise of God, but it is something that has happened already. We have been qualified to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. Our Heavenly Father qualified us.

Verse 13 says, who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear son ". The use of the word has indicates that this deliverance is a completed action. He has already delivered us from the power of darkness.

The word power used in verse means control or authority, highlighting that God Almighty has already transferred us out of the control and authority of darkness (Satan's kingdom). He has liberated (freed) us from the domion, jurisdiction, influence and power of darkness (Satan's rule). It is therefore very important to reflect on this truth.

Because of this you need not fear demons or be influenced by their actions. You have absolute domion over them. Perhaps, you have found yourself grappling with nightmares and distressing attacks from the devil or sinister entities, assert, your authority in Christ. Tell the devil off.
Remember the words of Jesus Christ, "And these signs shall follow them that believe, ln my name shall they cast out devils...." Mark 16v17).Use the name of Jesus Christ against Satan and his cohorts of darkness. Stand firm on your identity in Christ Jesus, your position and authority in Him, and expirience the transcendent life and liberty of the Spirit.

It is important for you brethren to know what God has done for us in Christ Jesus. Please let us read the word of God.

Today you are as righteous as Jesus is righteous. You have the same life with Him. And this is the record, God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that has the son has and he that has not the Son God has not life 1John 5v11 and 12.

JESUS CHRIST BECAME YOU AND I ON THE CROSS.

1Peter3 v18

For Christ also has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.

Do you realise brothers and sisters that Jesus Christ was Crucified for us? He actually became us on the cross of calvary. Not only did He bear our sins, He also bore our very nature of sin. That is why the Bible in 2Corinth 5v21 says "He became sin who had no sin so that in Him we may become the righteousness of God in Him.

Jesus was our sin bearer and thus was made sin, meaning that we were literally on that cross when Jesus was crucified. He was not only our representative, He was our substitute :our sins were laid on His Spirit. He took our nature and took our place.

There is the legal aspect and there is the vital aspect. Jesus was legally your representative and vitally you on the cross. If He took our place and nature, it means you now have His place and nature, it means you now have His place and nature as well. He took our place so that we may take His place.
Since He was sinless, that means you have His sinless nature, now that you are born again. Now you can understand why the Bible says in 1Peter 2v9, "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation..."Do you notice that this Scripture says that you are holy?
It is because of the sacrifice and substitution Arya work of Jesus Christ on your behalf. He took your sin nature and made you holy, Now you can live a holy life.
The most wonderful part is not that He took our place and our nature but His purpose for doing it. It was to give us His place and His nature. Ephesians 2v4 to 6 is so beautiful, it says "But God who is rich in mercy... Has made us alive together with Christ... And has raised us up together and made us sit together with him in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
He gave us His place of glory, dominion, power, honour's and majesty, and made us partakers of His divine nature.

In Pursuit of Peace

Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone. ”

—Romans 12:18

Sometimes you can’t live peaceably with some people. They’re ill-tempered and don’t want to get along with anyone, including you.

That is why the Bible says, “Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone” (Romans 12:18 NLT). Notice the phrase “do all that you can.” That means you make the effort.

Jesus said, “So if you are presenting a sacrifice at the altar in the Temple and you suddenly remember that someone has something against you, leave your sacrifice there at the altar. Go and be reconciled to that person. Then come and offer your sacrifice to God” (Matthew 5:23–24 NLT).

For instance, let’s say that someone has wronged you and you’re angry about it. You’re at church worshipping, but you can’t stop thinking about what they did to you. Something is wrong. It’s hindering your prayer life.

You need to go to that person and try to resolve the conflict. It may be just a misunderstanding. Maybe you say, “The other day you made this comment, and this is the way I took it. Is that how you meant it?”

“Of course not!” they reply. “The last thing I want to do is not to offend you!”

On the other hand, they might tell you that is exactly what they meant and then say something even worse to offend you. What do you do then?

You’ve done what you were supposed to do. If they don’t want to reconcile with you, then it has become their problem. Put it into the hands of God, and pray for them. If they want to stay mad at you, then let it go.

When you’ve made the effort, when you’ve tried to reconcile, you can know that you’ve done your part. And you can come before God with a clean conscience.

EVERYONE MUST ACCEPT THE SALVATION OF THE LORD.

Titus 2 v11 NIV
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.

The word salvation means deliverance from sin and salvation from evil.lt is the same as redemption.Humankind cannot save themselves from sin or deliver themselves from evil.People needed God to rescue them from sin and evil.As as a result, God sent His Son Jesus Christ, to save man from sin.

Salvation is the work of God that sets human beings in right relationship with Him and one another.What we are being saved from are broken relationships with God and with other people that unleash the evil forces of sin and death in the world.Salvation is first of all the healing of broken relationships, beginning with the healing that reconciles the Creator and the created, God and you.

Your reconciliation with God leads to freedom from sin and newness of life that is not limited by death.The central moments are Christ 's death on the cross and resurrection from the dead.You were reconciled to God through the death of His Son.Salvation is the best gift to a lost soul and until you are born again, you cannot have access to Heaven and nothing can serve men outside of Christ. Jesus Christ is the source of eternal life and until you accept Him, life will be full of crisis.

You cannot understand God through human thinking, but our Lord Jesus Christ.Salvation is personal, you must repent and believe the good news . You must confess repent of all the sins you have committed in the past.

Brothers and sisters, there is no other name under heaven by which you and l can be saved except the name of Jesus Christ.No man shall enter Heaven except he is born again John 3 V3.

Your status as a child of the richest man in the world or as a child of a great man or woman of God will not qualify you to make it to heaven.Your closeness to your pastor will not either.True salvation include farewell to satan, sin and the world and accepting Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior.lt is the key to living a victorious and fruitful life on earth and reigning with the Lord in heaven.It is the greatest miracle.

THE ANSWER TO SUFFERING

James 5 v13
Is anyone of you suffering?He should pray.Is anyone happy.Let him sing songs of praise.

The things here on earth do not just happen anyhow.Everything in the past that is written or would be written , is a shadow of the unseen realm.You cannot be a believer or a Christian and refuse to believe that life is spiritual.

If creation begin with God who is a Spirit (John 4 v24) then it means creation is spiritual by origin and everything here is a product of the spiritual realm.Therefore whatever happens to a human being is firstly spiritual.You cannot just live a difficult life for many years without forces compelling such conditions.Likewise when you live with ease, smooth and well watered life, it is because a force is working for you.

Look at the story of Job, he lost all he had in a day (Job1 v2). Those looking from the physical point of view in his days would just see it as a mere disaster, but a negative spirit was working behind the scene.Likewise when he was restored, he had twice all his losses because God was on his side.

Friends , that is why the written word of God the Bible says in James5 v13 "Is anyone among you suffering ?He should pray.Is anyone happy ?He should sing songs of praises .

Why should we pray someone might ask? Prayer is the only weapon that can create an environment that resists the powers of evil around your life and destiny.Prayer makes you omnipotent, because it engages the omnipotent power of God in your daily affairs.

You have to earnestly pray.You should pray always without ceasing.That is the key to freedom from negative forces of darkness.Is there any area of suffering in your life?Is your health , relationship , marriage afflicted?As you pray , you shall see a positive turnaround in Jesus' name.For the Lord shall give you rest from all your sufferings in Jesus' name.

May the Lord our God give us understanding in all these things.Behind any activity in your life there is a Spirit behind , it is spiritual.The word of God reveals all this.Our victory is in Christ Jesus we the redeemed ones of the Lord.

GIFT WITHOUT CHARACTER IS IDLE, MEANINGLESS AND OFTENTIMES DESTRUCTIVE
What gift, skill or talent can you boast of today? Gift without character is idle, meaningless and oftentimes destructive. Adam had a gift of management and creativity. He named every animal in the garden but lost the garden - because of weakness in his character (Genesis 3:17-19). Moses had the gift of a great leader and led his people out of Egypt but lost the Promised Land – because of weakness in his character (Deuteronomy 32:48-52). Saul had been the greatest king of Israel but had his kingdom torn from him – because of weakness in his character (1 Samuel 15:26-29). Judas walked daily with Jesus but lost his relationship – because he had no character (Matthew 26:14-16).

Be careful as you work or you may find your hands full of money, your head full of information but your heart empty and therefore, your life very empty. God is not looking for a star; He is looking for character. Character makes future possible. Anyone can own a car but not everyone can maintain a car. Many have received the gifts of God but not everyone has been able to maintain their gifts. God’s gifts can only be maintained by God’s character. If it is not with character, it is not in truth; it is not in Spirit and so it is all nothing.

PRAYER: Oh Holy Spirit, give me the grace to imbibe the character of Christ so that Your instinct and nature may be evident and obvious in me.

JESUS CHRIST IS OUR HEALER AND FOCUS.

Matthew 8 v17 NIV... "He Himself took up our infirmities and carried our diseases."

Isaiah 53v4 says ," surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows", But see how Matthew quoted this verse in our opening scripture.

I love the word Himself because it is so personal and so intimate.Surely He Himself took our diseases and our infirmities.Your health and wholeness were too important to Him so , He Himself bore your every sickness and disease.

Take time to ponder on the word Himself (Jesus Christ). Remember the one who suffered and died for you, the one who took your infirmities and bore your sickness so you need not bear them . Jesus Christ Himself did it because you are so precious to Him.

Whatever the doctor says you are suffering from incurable or curable, Jesus Himself has taken it upon His own body. Do not focus on looking for healing, focus on the Lord Jesus Himself.Focus on the one Who Himself bore your sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness ,by whose stripes you were healed. 1Peter2 v24.

Many times when you seek Him and simply spend time in His presence, your fears and worries just melt away.You find that in His presence there is shalom- peace.There is healing.There is wholeness.When you look for your symptoms , you find them no more.What is the reason? Because you are in the presence of the Healer.

When God told the people of Israel ,I am the Lord who heals you Exodus 15 v26 , He was introducing Himself to them as Jehovah Rapha.He was not saying , to them I will give you healing or I will provide you health.He was saying to them I am your healing, and I am your health.When you touch Jesus Christ, you touch healing.He does not give healing as though it were a thing.He gives Himself.

You do not have to seek after healing, provision, and protection . When you have Jesus, you have all you need.If there is any part in your body , that is in death, the Lord says to you "I am the resurrection and the life"John 11v25.If doctors have told you that you will die young, the Lord says to you ,I am your life and the length of your days Duet30 v20.If you have received a negative diagnosis and are fearful, the Lord says to you , Do not be afraid, I am your shield"Genesis 15 V1.If you have been dealing with relapse after relapse and the discouragement is overwhelming you , the Lord diclares to you,' I am your strength and your song" Exodus 15 v2 .

All that God Has destined us to have in His grace is in Christ Jesus.We need the Lord for the whole package that God has given us is in Christ There is no burden He cannot bear there is no problem He cannot solve there is no diseases or sickness He cannot heal .We need Jesus Christ may the Lord give us understanding in all these things . Let us focus on the Lord.Jesus Christ loves you. Make Him the Lord of your life.

DEALING WITH HINDERANCES AND OBSTACLES ,TO BREAKTHROUGHS.

Mark 4v39
And He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea , Peace be still.And the wind ceased and there was great calm.

My brothers and sisters , God wants you to have a breakthrough.But there are major obstacles and hinderances on the way to breakthroughs, God 's intervention in your situation is based on your ability to handle the obstacles because your testimony is guaranteed.

And He could there do no mighty work, save that He laid his hands upon a few sick folk and healed them.
And He marvelled because of their unbelief.And He went around the villages teach.
Mark 6 v5 -6
Jesus could not do mighty works in His own country because of their unbelief.Jesus could not do mighty works, He wanted to but He could not , because of nbelief.

Brothers and sisters the same unbelief that hindered Jesus from doing mighty works is still the same obstacle hindering many people of their , breakthroughs.Until unbelief is out of your heart , you may not have access to your breakthrough, it is time to get out of unbelief and build up your faith.
It is only your faith that guarantees you the victory you desire.

Your faith and trust must rest on God's ability.Your faith should never stand in the wisdom of men , but in the power of God Almighty 1 Corinth 2 v5.

Another obstacle and hinderance is the traditions of men.Jesus Christ said: "Thus you have made the commandment of God of none effect by your traditions Matthew 15 V6.
When you agree with certain traditional beliefs you will make the word of God ineffective in your life.Friends to hold on to traditional beliefs is to miss the truth of God's word.Tradition can be defined as a tale, belief or practice that was handed down ,it is also a long established belief or custom.

This obstacle will work against your faith and your access to the supernatural will be hindered so you must do away with unbelief and traditions of men, get into the realm of faith and begin to move mountains in Jesus' name.

So brothers and sisters let us renew our minds with the word , of God , and see things with the eyes of God.We should do things God's way .We must not argue with God for the sake of our traditions we miss God's blessings , provisions and help.God wants us to have breakthrough in everything ,we have to obey Him to receive all He has for us.

May the Lord give us understanding in all this in Jesus mighty name.
