A Place For Families
We strive to meet the needs of families with workshops and sermons designed to focus on the achieving and maintaining the functionality that God desires it to enjoy. A Place For Youth
Our youth ministry actively work to support the work of parents who are trying to bring up their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
The Junior Youth (pre-teens) and our Youth (13 years and older) are provided with spiritual instruction, social development, positive fellowship, service opportunities and an outlet for creative expression. A Place For Seniors

You must HEAR the gospel, the “good news” that Jesus died for your sins, was buried and raised to life once more (Romans 10:13-17). You must BELIEVE wholeheartedly the truth that you have heard (Hebrews 11:6, Mark 16:16). You must REPENT of sins, turning away from everything that displeases God and resolving to live in obedience to His will (Luke 13:3, Acts 2:38). You must CONFESS, acknowledge with your mouth, that Jesus is Lord, the Son of the living God (Matthew 10:32, Romans 10:9-10). And you must be BAPTISED, immersed in water for the washing away of your sins (Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38, Romans 6:4, I Peter 3:20-22). The Lord will add you to His church (Acts 2:47) – the ONE church that was purchased with His Blood (Acts 20:28), the ONE church that HE said that He would build (Matthew 16:18), the ONE church that wears His name (Acts 4:10-12)

Jill Jones baptism!

Jill wrote the following to me this afternoon:

Brought up in the Baptist church, I was exposed to the gospel and as a 5 year old child, I believed in child-like faith that I was a sinner, on my way to hell, and needed Jesus' forgiveness. A short time later I was baptized (note: not immediately).

Fast forward 44 years later, I picked up Muscle and a Shovel and with an open heart & mind, to the salvation message that "baptism doth also now save" (1Peter 3:21). God used His Word and one man's (family's) journey to take me back to my salvation experience. I realized the gospel that was presented to me at 5 years old, then throughout my adult life (under Baptist teaching), was a perverted gospel because I thought baptism was an outward act of obedience for what had taken place on the inside. But I realized this was a false doctrine, perverting the gospel of Christ (Gal. 1:6-9). I had missed that salvation comes by hearing, believing, confessing, repentance and baptism for the remission of sins (John 5:24, Rom. 10:9, Acts 2:38). As I dove into the Word and poured over the multitude of verses that Author Mr. Shank shares in his book, God opened my eyes to see what I had missed, that baptism truly washes away our sins.

To my shame & blame, I had not studied to show myself approved unto God. Were my sins washed away before immersion or not? I now became aware that my baptism as a child was flawed and not following what was written & left by Jesus for us to obey his word in the new testament. I also realized that Jesus said, "...I will build my church."

So did the name of what church I attend matter? Yes it does! According to Romans 16:16, "The churches of Christ salute you." The Holy Spirit urged me to immediately act upon the command that all sinners repent and be baptized for the remission of sins.

So on April 25, 2024 , I met with the saints & minister at the local church of Christ, was baptized for the remission of my sins and added to the church of Christ. I thank my heavenly Father for his longsuffering and taking me back to the Cross, the Grave, & Resurrection to make life's greatest decision - to follow Him! Alleluia He Lives! Jill (Indiana)
