As we enter the 6th month of the year, let us remember that on the 31st of December we cried, prayed, and trusted God for grace, life, good health, and strength. Today, despite the hardships, disappointments, pain, and challenges we have faced, God has remained faithful. We are still standing, still breathing, and still moving forward by His grace.

Prayer Point:

Lord Jesus, I thank You for sustaining me up until this month of June. Thank You for protecting me, providing for me, and carrying me through every challenge.

𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗬𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣𝗦

Every healthy relationship is sustained by honour.

- If honour is missing in marriage, that marriage will collapse.
- Families fracture when honour is replaced by contempt.
- Churches divide when honour gives way to criticism and suspicion.
- Work places become toxic when people refuse to honour one another.

Dishonour may begin as a thought but eventually become words and actions that wounds others.

𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗬

Matt.13.57 - And they were deeply offended and refused to believe in him. Then Jesus told them, "A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his own family."
Matt.13.58 - And so he did only a few miracles there because of their unbelief.

When people become overly familiar with God's gifts, they lose respect for them. When they become overly familiar with God's servant, they may fail to honor the anointing upon hislives.

- When you fail to honour the anointing, you cannot fully receive from it.

- Dishonour closes the eyes of the hear.

Parents, leaders, mentors, spouses, pastors, and even fellow believers are channels through which God brings blessings into our lives. Therefore, honoring them is both important and necessary.
