Proof text: Exodus 14:13-15 "13 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

15 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. The Scripture means that God tells His people to stop fearing and trust Him to fight their battles when they face impossible crises.

Overview of Exodus 14:13-15 means that God commands His people to stop fearing and trust Him to fight their battles before calling them to take action and move forward. Fear causes the people to complain and doubt.Moses' Response: Moses tells them to calm down, stand firm, and watch God deliver them: God addresses human panic first. Fear blocks and clear thinking during a crisis. Stand Still: "Be still" does not mean permanent inaction; it means stopping frantic, self-reliant panic and surrendering control to God. The Lord Fights For You: Victory comes from God's power, not human weapons or strength. The threat of the Egyptians is dealt with permanently.
