Last Sabbath we sent off St Sihle (SineMbasa) Masiza who was welcomed by the circuit Evangelist J Dondolo to her new spiritual home and under the spiritual guidance of Elder A Matshoba Pastor.

SineMbasa will be missed in her secretariat role and her melodious alto. She joins a loving tabernacle that will shower her with all the love she needs as she starts this new chapter.

Love is in the air 😍♥️🥳🙌🏾

About 2 weeks ago our tabernacle secretary St Siphesihle tied the knot with Trustee St Mbasa Masiza. A beautiful union that saw the tabernacle travel over 800km to the Eastern Cape to celebrate and witness this beautiful ceremony.

Here’s a highlight of the celebrations. We wish and pray for the Masiza family for God to bless them and increase them in holy matrimony!

In the Peace of It, You Shall Have Peace

Jeremiah 29:7 (KJV)

There are seasons when life does not make sense. You may be praying for your workplace, asking God to bring peace where there is tension; or simply praying for your life, because you are facing circumstances you cannot understand. Jeremiah was speaking to people who were in a place they did not choose and a season they did not understand. Yet God told them: “Seek the peace of the city… and pray unto the LORD for it.”

Notice that God did not tell them to wait until everything became perfect before they prayed. He told them to pray for the very environment in which they were struggling. Sometimes we pray, “Lord, take me out of this situation,” while God is teaching us to pray, “Lord, bring Your peace into this situation.” Your workplace may not change immediately. Your circumstances may not turn around overnight. But you can invite God into the middle of the confusion.

The promise is powerful: “for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.” When you pray for peace around you, you are also creating room for God to establish peace within you. You may not control what people say, what decisions are made, or how circumstances unfold—but you can place the situation before the Lord.

Today, don’t only pray for God to change your situation. Pray for God to give you peace while He works in it. Pray for your workplace. Pray for your family. Pray for your own heart. What looks like confusion to you is not confusion to God. He is still present, still working, and still able to bring peace where there seems to be none.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I bring before You the place and situation that is troubling me. Bring peace into my workplace, my relationships, and my life. Where there is confusion, give me wisdom. Where there is tension, give me grace. Where there is fear, give me faith. Help me not to lose my peace while You are working things out. Teach me to seek the peace of the place where You have allowed me to be, trusting that as I pray for its peace, You will establish peace in me. In Jesus name, Amen.
