Today we observe Ash Wednesday, the solemn beginning of the Lenten season, a sacred time given to us for deep reflection, repentance, and renewal of our relationship with God.

This is a season that calls us to pause, to humble ourselves, and to remember our dependence on God in all things. As we are reminded, “we are dust, and to dust we shall return” (Genesis 3:19), we are invited to turn our hearts back to Him through prayer, self-examination, acts of love, and spiritual discipline.

Lent is not only about giving something up, but about growing closer to God, strengthening our faith, and allowing transformation to take place within us. It is a journey of grace, hope, and renewal — preparing us for the joy of Easter.

May this holy season encourage us to walk intentionally, love deeply, pray faithfully, and seek God wholeheartedly.
