The past week, 11-13 Feb, Congregational Witness reach one of its goals for 2025: A MTC workshop with a group of our emeriti Ministers from our Eastern Cape presbyteries in Gqeberha. The sub-goal is to explore the possibility to draw in their experience, time, and wisdom to help introduce the MTC (Missional transformation of Congregations) process to our Ministers especially tools like the MCB (The Missional conversation board) and CBS (Contextual Bible Study) of the Assessment phase. And also to help with the equipment of elders and deacons on presbyterial and Congregational level, where Relieving Ministers (Konsulente) request assistance and support from the Synodical office of Congregational Witness.

Apart from the constuctive engagement and empowerment that took place, it was an honor to be in the presence of our sages and the 3 days together was really blessed and priceless.

I am looking forward to what can materialize from this initiative.
