A Light That Never Fades

This weekend, as we gathered for our 2025 ordination we remembered and celebrates the life of our founder, Rev Thompson, we lit a candle not just in his memory, but as a symbol of the spiritual flame he passed on to us.

It has been some time since he went to Glory, but his light continues to shine brightly through the ministry he established. As that flame was lit, we were reminded that the passion, vision, and anointing that lived in him have now been entrusted to our new leadership.

The candle represents the beautiful, unbroken chain of faith, a legacy of light passed from one generation to the next. We will continue to carry this torch, committed to building upon the strong foundation he laid.

Thank you, Heavenly Father, for our founder's life and for the enduring light of his ministry that continues to guide us.

A Sacred Beginning
Yesterday, we stood in holy reverence as our community welcomed our newly ordained deacon, minister, and elder into their sacred callings. This was more than a ceremony, it was a commissioning. A moment where tradition met fresh anointing, and the weight of leadership was embraced with humility, joy, and fire.

Each vow spoken, each hand laid, each prayer whispered was a declaration: We are ready to serve, to lead, and to be led by the Spirit.

These leaders are not stepping into titles, they are stepping into lives of sacrifice, wisdom, and love. May their hearts remain tender, their hands strong, and their vision rooted in Christ.

“Shepherd the flock of God that is among you… not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock.” 1 Peter 5:2–3
