This morning we had 108 beneficiaries who not only received a food parcel, bread and soup - they also each received clothes that were recently donated.
Thank you to Khanyi, Denise and Desire who were helping to sort and distribute the clothes at our Clothes Rondawel today.
CMR also addressed the beneficiaries making them aware of the problems being faced by children in the township.
How amazing to see different people using their gifts in various ways to serve the Kingdom of God.
God bless you all!
May He receive all the glory!

Busy, busy, busy...that's how I would describe this morning at the BCF Soup Kitchen!
We had 3 volunteers unpacking bags of clothes we've received, 5 volunteers in the kitchen, packing the food parcels for 102 beneficiaries.
We are blessed indeed! πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

God is so faithful as He is able to provide far more than we could ever hope, or dream, or imagine. To Him be the glory! (Ephesians 3: 20,21)

There's never a dull moment at the BCF Soup Kitchen. Over the last 2 months we've received donations of beanies, blankets, scarves, oranges, soup and bread - not to mention clothes.
Each month we receive a supply of bulk food items, like mielie meal, samp, speckled beans, cooldrink mix and soya from Barberton Mines.
Thank you to each and every one of you make helping to keep on feeding ( and clothing) the less fortunate in our community.
Thank you also for every church and private donation- from R200 to R1000, that provides us with the finances to buy the bulk food we still need.
Not to mention the supply of 500g packs of mince meat we receive monthly from HEF The Humanitarian Empowerment Fund) enabling us to give a pack of mince meat to every beneficiary 3 Wednesday mornings a month!
Thank you to the Dutch Reformed Church who has provided us with the 3 bungalows we use - one for the Soup Kitchen, another for the Clothes and the 3rd is a toilet facility with 2 separate toilets and basins.
We are indeed blessed to still be serving the community since 2008!
To God be all the glory!πŸ™πŸ™ŒπŸ™πŸ™ŒπŸ™πŸ™Œ

Please support the BCF Blanket Drive.
So far we've received 30 blankets, however, our goal is to have 110 blankets to hand out to each one of our beneficiaries!
Please consider buying a new blanket or donating a used, but "still in a good condition" blanket (or duvet).
You could choose to donate money into our bank account. (See details below)
Please, let's try to make it happen within the next 2 weeks! (for the cold, July, winter month.)
Thank you.
God bless

We have been so blessed to receive 54 scarves knitted by Maureen from the Methodist Church! Thank you, Maureen! We so welcome the scarves that you knit for the Forum every year! It is so appreciated πŸ‘
They were handed out last Wednesday at our weekly Soup Kitchen, together with the beanies we received from Anne!

We were able to bless 118 people with a small food parcel, soup, bread and a 500g pack of mince.
Pastor Paul brought a message as well.

Thank you to our regular donors for making this all possible: Barberton Mines, Nicholas Moosa for the bread, Japie for fruit, and everyone who brings us pots of soup.
God bless you all!

Please remember us when you have winter clothes you're no longer wearing. We are really in need of men's clothes in particular.
Socks, shoes, jerseys etc will really be appreciated.

You can contact me, Jenny Meerholz by inboxing me or sending me a private message on WhatsApp at 0823155656.
Thank you 😊 πŸ™
