Every knee will bow. Every tongue will confess.
Read that again.
One day…
Every debate will end.
Every false religion will be silenced.
Every argument against Christ will cease.
Let’s study the Scriptures.
The Apostle Paul writes:
“Therefore God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:9–11)
Notice…
It doesn’t say some knees.
It says every knee.
Can I go deeper?
That includes the atheist.
The agnostic.
The Hindu.
The Buddhist.
The Mormon.
The Jehovah’s Witness.
The Muslim.
The Satanist.
The occultist.
The deconstructionist.
The celebrity.
The politician.
The pastor.
The king.
The billionaire.
The poor.
The religious.
The irreligious.
Every person who has ever lived.
No one will stand before the risen Christ as His equal.
Everyone will stand before Him as Judge and King.
Can I say something boldly?
The question isn’t if you will bow.
The question is when.
You can bow before Him today in repentance and receive mercy…
Or you will bow before Him one day in judgment.
Either way…
Every knee will bow.
Can I go deeper?
Jesus isn’t one path among many.
He didn’t say,
“I am a way.”
He said,
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)
The Gospel isn’t arrogant because Christians believe it.
It’s exclusive because Jesus declared it.
Truth, by its very nature, excludes what is false.
Can I say something that may convict you?
Our generation celebrates the idea that all roads lead to God.
Jesus taught the exact opposite.
Not every road leads to life.
Not every spirit is from God.
Not every gospel saves.
Not every belief leads to heaven.
There is one Savior.
One Mediator.
One Name by which we must be saved.
“There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
Church…
This isn’t a message of hatred.
It’s a message of hope.
If there were many ways to be saved, Jesus would not have needed to die.
The cross declares both the seriousness of our sin and the greatness of God’s love.
Can I leave you with this?
We don’t preach Jesus because we think we’re better than anyone else.
We preach Jesus because He alone saves.
We don’t preach Christ to win arguments.
We preach Christ because eternity is real.
One day…
Every crown will be laid down.
Every kingdom will fall.
Every idol will crumble.
Every lie will be exposed.
And every knee will bow before the King of kings.
Bow to Him now while His arms are open in mercy…
Because the same Jesus who invites sinners to Himself today will one day return as the righteous Judge of all the earth.
Jesus Christ is Lord.
