Thankful for a full house and filled seats at TCC YTH!

Recap ➡️

Today, Mr. David preached on “Don’t Miss the Promise” and were reminded of two important truths:

**1. You Can’t Fix What’s Broken… on Your Own.**

**2. You Have to Surrender Your Way… for God’s Way.**

God’s promises require us to trust Him, surrender our own plans, and allow Him to do what only He can do, His way!

We’re not finished yet! 👀 Join us again on **November 8th** as we continue with **Part 2 of “Don’t Miss the Promise.”**

To our TCC YTH Facebook community,

Our very own Mr. David and Mrs. Jessica are excited to announce that starting NEXT Wednesday, 9/16, they will be leading a Bible study on the book of John at Trinity Christian Center during Wednesday night classes and small groups.

This is not in replacement of our regular TCC YTH Sunday nights. Sunday’s will continue to be a time for our students to gather, worship, play, and grow in community. Wednesday’s will specifically be for diving deeper into the Word and small group discussions.

We are currently keeping the audience for this as high school students only. We are not minimizing the growth and potential of our middle schoolers, but this will be a dedicated time where Mr. David and Mrs. Jessica pour specifically into our older students.

To the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and neighbors, we would love to have your high schooler! This will be a safe space where we will rightly divide the Word and lead these students to the same conclusion as the Apostle John; that Jesus truly is the Son of God.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to either David or Jessica.

Tonight in Lake County, there is a movement.

Across 2 separate locations, one in Waukegan at Miguel Juarez Middle School and another in Libertyville at Austin’s Saloon, over 10-15 different youth groups will gather to praise our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

We’re talking secular places; a middle school gym…a bar & grill…these environments won’t be transformed with just musical instruments to make a joyful noise, they’ll be filled with young people worshipping and praising our risen King.

The youth of Lake County are awakening to something MORE. And we’re just excited to be part of it!

Our faithful and loyal Friday evening set-up crew!

- 2 tents
- 10+ tables
- 100+ chairs
- 5 big barrels of water
- 2 large tarps
- and a whole lot more…
- the organizing
- the coordinating
- the sweating
- the sacrificing

Ministry is a lot of prep work, a lot of physical labor, a lot of setting up and tearing down, a lot of logistics and organization, and a whole lot of prayer.

It takes a village.

Tomorrow, students will sit in a chair in the shade, they’ll eat a burger, throw a water balloon, slide in a slip n’ slide, worship, laugh, we might even get some tears. And it’s largely because of what happens behind the scenes, off-stage.

That’s ministry.

Please join us in appreciating our Friday evening crew for all of their labor in helping us get set up for our big day tomorrow!
