Thank you, Lord, for the social and economic achievements of American workers. Congress passed the law on June 28, 1894 for a "general holiday for the laboring classes" to honor those "who from rude nature have delved and carved all the grandeur we behold." (Peter J. McGuire, general secretary of the Brotherhood of Carpenters) It is appropriate, therefore, that the nation pays tribute on Labor Day to the creator of so much of the nation's strength, freedom, and leadership – the American worker.

Thank you to all who helped us celebrate yesterday the goodness of the Lord with our kids and team from Belarus as well as our host families! We were blessed by your visit yesterday! We thank the Lord for your support all year long that makes these 6 weeks in summer a reality. Until next summer, we send our love, and we will miss our Belarusian family. May the Lord protect each of you and bring you back to us in 2027!
