This Sunday morning, we honor Bishop Timothy Ward in celebration of Pastor and Clergy Appreciation Month!

Bishop Ward gave his life to the Lord at a young age and began preaching the gospel. Today, he is still on the wall, proclaiming the Word of God so that men, women, boys, and girls around the world might be saved.

His life-changing messages have stayed with so many of us throughout the years and continue to ring true today. His words have strengthened our faith, encouraged our hearts, and reminded us to keep trusting God.

Bishop, as you continue to encourage Living Waters Christian Church, today we want to encourage you: You’re built for this!

You came across our path and changed our lives. We are grateful for your leadership, your faithfulness, and your commitment to the calling God has placed on your life.

Happy Pastor’s Appreciation Month to Pastor Nell Smith Ward, a woman after God’s own heart who has served faithfully for many years and continues to carry the mantle of leadership and pastorship with grace.

An anointed and powerful pastor, minister of the gospel, and national recording artist, Pastor Nell began preaching at the tender age of three, led her first revival at six, and began pastoring the church her mother founded at just 17 years old. She continues to build upon that legacy, making a lasting impact through her ministry and the lives she touches.

She is a Stellar Award nominee, the author of two anointed books, and a Lifetime Achievement Award recipient who has graced the stage with extraordinary gospel legends. Her accomplishments are too many to name, but at the center of it all is her wholehearted love for God and His people. And when we think about the miracles, the testimonies, the breakthroughs, and the deliverance that have taken place through her ministry, we could go on and on. Only God knows the fullness of the lives she has touched and the impact she continues to make.
