We had a wonderful Mothers Day service with Faye Jones bringing our message. Several of the mom’s wore hats and fascinators, our all ladies Choir, and presentation of flowers to oldest and youngest moms, along with our leading ladies. The men surprised every lady with a rose and candy too. Thanks to Kate and Lance who presented a gorgeous arrangement at the front of the church in honor of our ladies.

For our RCHC kids Sunday school classrs and children’s church time we will be at the FLC. If sicknesses stays away 🙏, James and I are going to have Sunday school and children’s church breakfast and free play time with a devotion for the kids this Sunday at the FLC! So we are praying everyone stays well and we will meet there regular time Sunday (9:30) at the FLC not the church and we will remain there until service is over! Hope to see the kiddos there! You maybinbite a friend also but This is not a public event😊

I am always amazed at the many things our God does! But as I sit here watching everyone literally stopping everything they are doing to hopefully get a glimpse of the eclipse, which I agree is truly amazing, I am left wondering how many are actually gazing up at the heavens and expecting to see Jesus coming back! Now let me tell you, that is some Awesome and much more amazing news!! Jesus is coming back and my prayer is that we tell all and we stay fixed on Him and ready!! Even so, come Lord Jesus, come!!

Hate for dirt and love for child ❤️

As a group of college students toured the slums of a city, one of the girls, seeing a little girl playing in the dirt, asked a guide, “Why doesn’t her mother clean her up?”

“Madam,” he replied, “that girl’s mother probably loves her, but she doesn’t hate dirt. You hate dirt, but you don’t love her enough to go down there and clean her up. Until hate for dirt and love for that child are in the same person, that little girl is likely to remain as she is.”

Fort Hancock

Fort Hancock is on the farthest tip of Sandy Hook, which reaches out into the Atlantic on the New Jersey coast. During World War II it was a military training center. A civilian of the area was eager to bring the good news of Christ to the thousands of young men stationed there. The military authorities would not permit him to enter in person. Not to be denied, he asked a firm that specialized in novelties to make several thousand mirrors about three inches in diameter. On the back of each mirror he had printed the words of John 3:16. Beneath these words he had this direction, “If you want to see who it is that God loves, look on the other side.” As each soldier looked at himself he saw the person whom God loved.
