Thank you to the women of the LWML Eastern District for your warm welcome and faithful partnership!

On Sunday, Rachel Potts had the privilege of serving as a Mites in Action speaker, sharing how Lutheran Braille Workers is bringing God’s Word to people who are blind or visually impaired around the world.

A special thank you to Dave Gusky from Ministry Production Center #192 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who represented LBW at our exhibit booth throughout the convention weekend.

We’re especially grateful that three Ministry Production Centers have opened within the Eastern District in the past two years, helping share free Braille and Large Print Christian materials with even more people.

What a blessing to be with the women of the LWML Wyoming District Convention in Casper this weekend! Rachel Potts, LBW’s Director of Ministry Relations and Strategic Partnerships, was honored to serve as a Mites in Action speaker as attendees gathered around the theme, “Rooted in Faith.”

Women also participated in a servant event, folding and labeling Large Print Lutheran Hour sermons and creating Braille cards for LBW recipients. Thank you to the Wyoming District women for your faithful support, and a special thank you to District President Terri Denniston for the invitation and warm hospitality!

A significant milestone is achieved with 'Songs of Faith; Stories of Light' as Blake Flattely follows up Dr. Brooke Pernice's remarkable series of original songs (https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_l3njkZbP8rlIW9SIT5owZLVaYMpXlZiI0&si=4DKBR2oDpvZJKTpk) with a compelling new documentary video interview about his latest music, demonstrating once again that exceptional artistry begets outstanding storytelling with a profound conversation with Sharon Luca about her faith journey and his new song, which poignantly captures Sharon's inspiring story.

Blindness and sight impairment are not limited to one group of people or a single age demographic. Every person with low or no vision has a unique story to tell about their unique faith and life.

We are collecting stories for an initiative called ‘Songs of Faith, Stories of Light,’ and we would love to hear your story. We are especially interested in hearing from young adults, teens, and youth.

If you or someone you know is blind or sight impaired, we would love to set up a time to talk and listen. To schedule a conversation, please contact Lutheran Braille Workers headquarters in Yucaipa, California, at 909-795-8977.

It was a joy to spend the weekend with the LWML Pacific Southwest District, the district that LBW proudly calls home! As an Elite Mission Sponsor, we enjoyed sharing the ministry of LBW with attendees. Thank you to Cynthia Keh for speaking in front of the whole assembly, and to Marilyn Dominguez from our Ontario, California, Ministry Production Center for helping all weekend. We are grateful for the LWML PSW District’s partnership in making God’s Word accessible to all! 💙
