Hey church, most of you know Tony Chastain, our dear brother in Christ. He serves alongside me in ministry at Grace Point as the president of our Elder Board. He is also the leader of our Call ministry which trains people to do door-to-door evangelism.
Over many years, hundreds, if not thousands of people have made decisions for Christ through his ministry. He loves Jesus, his lovely wife Dareth and their amazing children Sky and Spencer. If you know Tony and his wife Dareth, you know they are the real deal. Many of you have been directly impacted by how Tony has given to you through his life and ministry. Now I’m asking you to consider giving back.
As an Elder, Tony is one of shepherds of our flock. In 1 Timothy 5:17–18 Paul writes, “The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching.”
I can attest that Tony has directed the affairs of our church extremely well! His wisdom and dedication on our Board can not be overstated. So, I am personally asking you to bless this dear brother and his family with double honor in the form of prayer and financial provision.
He needs a complete healing and recovery for his spine at the top and bottom. He has been in excruciating pain but still maintains a positive attitude as he presses into Jesus and awaits His provision and healing. His faith through these trials has been an inspiration to me, many of you and countless others. We have prayed for a miracle but as we know, God often chooses to answer our prayers by guiding the minds and hands of skilled surgeons.
Tony has a phenomenal surgeon but his medical insurance won’t cover the cost due to an unfortunate timing of events. His surgery is September 1.
I’d love for Tony and Dareth to receive an outpouring of support from His church before he is rolled in for the surgery.
So, please pray and consider giving as the Lord leads. No gift is too small! Just click the link below and type in the name Tony Chastain in the search bar. It will take you to his giving page. Thank you. I can’t wait for us to see Tony smiling and serving at Grace Point again with renewed vigor and vitality!
