SportsWorld is coming up on Monday and this Sunday we will have an opportunity for you to partner with us in prayer!

When the service is over, stop by our table in the lobby to grab a wristband. Each wristband has the name of a camper, games crew member, or counselor on it that will be participating in SportsWorld next week. You can put the wristband on and wear it throughout the week as a reminder to pray for SportsWorld and the specific student you have on your wristband. Here are some things you can pray for:
- That the campers and teenage volunteers would clearly hear the Gospel declared and that the Lord would use our theme “made perfect” to grow the students’ love for Him
- The safety and health of all our participants and SportsWorld staff throughout the week
- For everyone to experience the joy of the Lord through the fun that SportsWorld offers
- That SportsWorld would be an avenue for new families to get plugged into church

We can’t wait to see what the Lord does next week and will be praying for more hearts to be touched by the Gospel through SportsWorld!

This Sunday, June 14th, is PROMOTION SUNDAY!

On Sunday, all of our kiddos in KidzMin will be moving up to the next grade level!

This may mean that your children are moving into a different classroom on Sunday mornings. For current 5th graders, this means they will be joining PSM on the second floor for the first time!

We are so excited to have a new group of friends in PSM, and for more kiddos to experience more joy in KidzMin🥳

Our God invites us to bring our fear and anxieties to him and to experience true life giving peace!

As we have explored facing anxiety and finding peace in our sermon series, we pray that the Night of Worship and Prayer was encouraging for your hearts as you sought the Lord amidst worry.

This morning we prayed for our three summer short term mission trips! We are excited to send out the college Japan trip, the NYC Seed Week trip, and the PSM EY2S trip very soon.

Join us in praying for these groups and that the Lord would use them to build his kingdom! Many of these team members are still fundraising, so join our church in prayerfully considering giving towards these trips. You can visit the PSM book sale today or the Japan trip’s bake sale next week to give!

Our next Night of Worship and Prayer is coming up THIS Saturday at 6 pm!

The night will be focused on our yearly prayer and action goal theme of abiding in Jesus and we will sing, pray, and hear scripture focused on facing anxiety & finding peace. We hope you can join us!

Tomorrow is our monthly Day of Prayer and Fasting for June!

This month our focus is on SportsWorld 2026. Join us in asking that God would use this event to help us reach our community and to convey to our elementary age campers, middle school games crew, and high school counselors that God offers saving grace through His Son alone. Please also pray for the many leaders and volunteers as they strive to love our campers well!

The PSM Book Sale is set up and ready to go!

This year, our global engage goals is to raise up the next generation of global ministry partners to be sent out to the nations. This book sale is a practical way that you can support our PSM students and send them to Norfolk on a mission trip this summer to serve the local community and share the Gospel!

All books are $1 each and additional donations are welcome! All proceeds will go towards PSM's Empowering Youth 2 Serve mission trip in July.

We are officially LESS THAN ONE MONTH away from SportsWorld 2026! 🏀⚽️🏈

Join us in praying for the 260 campers, 180 counselors and games crew members who will be part of this incredible week. Pray that hearts would be open and softened to the truth of the Gospel and that SportsWorld would be a powerful opportunity for our church to reach and serve our local community.

We are expectant and excited to see all that God will do through this week in June!

This Memorial Day, we remember those who laid down their lives to serve our country.

We are grateful for their willingness to serve and recognize the cost borne and grief felt by so many families. Today we pray for comfort for those who mourn and for the peace of Christ to fill our hearts, our communities, and our world!
