Church family,

In just one Sunday, you didn’t just meet the fundraising goal for our Cambodia mission team - you exceeded it. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the way you show up, faithfully and wholeheartedly.

Because of your generosity, any funds given beyond our original goal will go directly toward supporting long-term missionaries in Cambodia and expanding the impact of our upcoming outreach. This means:
• Additional medical testing and the ability to serve more patients in our clinics
• Educational resources for those we’re serving
• Care packages for participants in our prayer retreat

And as if that weren’t enough - this same Sunday, you showed up locally too. Our one-day food drive provided nearly 1,200 pounds of food to Five Loaves Food Pantry, valued at $2,400, helping meet real needs right here in our community.

We’re headed to Cambodia in just 1 MONTH!

A team from Northside is going to Cambodia on March 11th to serve in medical & spiritual outreach with Mercy Medical - bringing healthcare, education, prayer, and hope to communities that desperately need it.

But we’re only just over halfway to our funding goal, and time is running out!

❄️ Saturday Evening Update ❄️
As promised, here’s a confirmed update for tomorrow at Northside:

ONE in-person worship service at 10:45 AM
• No 9:00 AM service
• No nursery, kids, or teen programming
• 10:45 AM will be live-streamed as usual

A few additional notes:
• Discover Northside is cancelled for February and will resume in March.
• Our Food Drive collection has been postponed to next Sunday (2/8) - but if you already have donations, feel free to bring them tomorrow.

Whether you join us in person or online, we look forward to worshiping together tomorrow at 10:45!

We’re so excited to welcome Bible teacher and author Donna Amidon, who will share a powerful message weaving together Scripture, storytelling, and heartfelt encouragement. Her warm, relatable style is a reminder that when we’re rooted in God’s grace, we can grow strong and persevere through every season.

❄️ Snow Day Update ❄️

Out of an abundance of caution, all in-person worship services are cancelled tomorrow, and the Northside building will be closed.

Because of this weekend’s weather forecast, we’re making a few adjustments:

👉 ONE service this Sunday at 10:45 AM
• No 9:00 AM service
• No student service
• No kids programming

If you show up at 9:00, feel free to enjoy a peaceful hour of prayer in your car while you wait for the rest of us 😉

That said - if the weather goes full Arctic tundra, we may still need to cancel the 10:45 service. We’ll keep an eye on the forecast and make a final call by 5:00 PM Saturday.

Please use good judgment and stay safe. Even if the church lot is clear, some roads may not be!

On Sunday we were reminded that finding purpose isn’t about filling our calendars…
It’s about opening our eyes.

God doesn’t start with:
“What are you good at?”
“What’s on your resume?”
“How productive were you this year?”

He starts with:
Who have I placed right in front of you to love?

Sometimes your purpose has a name - a child, a spouse, a coworker, a neighbor, a friend who texts at the worst possible moment, a person who drains you, or someone God keeps putting on your heart.

Question for you:
Who is God calling you to love intentionally this December?
