“Who am I?” “What’s important?” “Where do I belong?” “What’s happening in the world?” “How do I live?”

All these questions are connected to your identity. Your answers to these questions are really important, and they shape the trajectory of your daily life. What you believe about yourself affects how you live.

Think for a moment about that first question: “Who am I?” and consider the implications if you’d answer that question like this:
“I’m successful” “I’m imperfect” “I’m popular” “I’m in control” “I’m a victim”

How you understand your identity powerfully shapes who are you. Last week we explored how evil is knocking on the door of all that is good and how we must stand ready. This week we will explore deeper who we are in relation to that readiness. How to find the boldness and the beauty it requires to stand against the evil outside our doors. - Pastor David
