His Timing - Not Mine

This morning's message was so good. I love how the Lord lines things up just right. Our worship pastor did things differently than our normal worship set. It was just exactly what we needed, and it set us up for the message He had helped Evans to prepare.
Do you just talk the talk, or do you actually walk it? Do you ask the Lord to guide your day? Do you listen for His leading living surrendered to His will?
I know this is an area that I need to do better, so I am going make sure to spend the time listening for His leading and make sure to do my best to follow it.

This is the video of part 5 in the series on Sonship. =)
One of the points from today, is that it isn't just about hearing the Word spoken - what the Lord is saying- but it is also about the written Word. We have copies- the Bible. Do you crack it open and actually read it?? Do you ask Him to open your ears to hear what he's saying to you for today? Or when you read are you just reading out of duty?
It is part of being a disciplined follower, a mature son, (boys and girls). The church, His body, needs to follow His example and listen to what He is speaking and follow his direction.

We had a wonderful time tonight. Evans and I went to VA Beach for the Sunrise Music Festival. How incredible it is to gather with others and worship and pray. Plus, we got to see a couple of wonderful friends while there. =)

It took a little while for me to be able to get the upload started, due to a power outage in our neighborhood. We're grateful that Dominion Power got things up and running again!
I did get it done later last night, and today has been really busy; so I am now getting it posted here.
I hope you are blessed and encouraged in listening to the video from our Sunday service yesterday. It is the 3rd part in a series on Sonship.

Here is the video from yesterday's message. We had such a wonderful time in His presence, worshipping our wonderful Father, and then we were encouraged and challenged with the message that was delivered.
I want to walk in ALL I am destined to walk in. I want to be all He has called me to be, and I want to make sure to work to catch up on any classes or tests that I may have missed, or not passed the first time around.
Be blessed in watching this, and encouraged and engage in conversation with the Father, pressing in for ALL He has for you!

Our service this morning was wonderful. Such a wonderful time in His presence, worshipping the King of kings, and then hearing the message about being destined to be Sons. Not adopted in the American way of thinking about it- but placed as mature sons. =)
