Are you getting excited for Yorkfest? So are we! Feel free to join us after the parade for a sloppy joe or a hot dog at York First UMC!

YORKFEST is around the corner and we are having our annual Sloppy Joe (or hot dog) meal with chips, drink and dessert that is open to all following the parade. Plan to stop on in! Free-will donation.

It's September and September 20th is WE SERVE Day! Plan to join us for donuts and coffee at 9:30 and then from 10:00 until noon. Instead of traditional worship, we will serve in various different ways in our community and through the church. There are sign up sheets in the welcome area or you may call Susan in the office if you have questions or talk to Sally Bailey.

Reminder to join us on Sunday, September 20th for a wonderful day of connection to each other and our community in service.

Sharing for our friends at Epworth Family Resources

❤️ We’re More Than Halfway There!

We’re excited to share that we have now raised $2,450 toward our $4,500 Heart of the Matter fundraising goal! 🎉

That means we’re just $2,050 away from reaching our goal—and we need your help to get there!

We’re looking for local businesses willing to sponsor a table for $300. When businesses sponsor tables, it helps make Heart of the Matter accessible to individuals, families and churches who may not be able to purchase a table themselves.

Their support allows others to attend, hear the stories of the children and families we serve, learn more about Epworth, and have the opportunity to make a donation that goes right back into supporting Epworth’s mission. ❤️

We serve is just over a month away! We are excited this special annual tradition of gathering together in service as a form of worship. Everyone can be involved regardless of age, level or physical ability. We have a place for you! Love, connect and serve together!
