Emmanuel Lutheran Church We seek to be a “grace place” congregation, a people who gather around God’s “means of grace”

We seek to be a “grace place” congregation, a people who gather around God’s “means of grace”: Baptism, Scripture, and the Lord’s Supper and faithfully dispense them so that sinners may repent of their sins and be forgiven, faith may be nourished and strengthened, and each of us be equipped to honor God and help our neighbor in the week ahead.

Welcome to worship at Emmanuel! This week in our summer sermon series of the Great Confessors, we visit the third of our Confessors that is in the lineage of Christ--a most unlikely ancestor, the Moabite woman, Ruth, who confesses to her mother-in-law, Naomi, "Your God with be my God."
We join in celebration of the feast of the Lord's Supper at both services this weekend.

Welcome to worship at Emmanuel! Our Summer Sermon series continues this week with time spent with the great apostle and Christian convert, Paul, who boldly proclaimed that "For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain."
We celebrate the Feast of the Lamb this morning, receiving God's good gift of forgiveness through His precious body and blood.
Our memory verse for August comes from the book of Hebrews: "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1
