May we be truly open to all that Jesus wants to challenge us with again this week in His Word!

Our comfort level and being in lockstep with Christ will, in this life, always be at odds with each other.

The maturing, thriving believer consistently embraces this tension...nowhere more so than in relationship to their local church that is intended by this same Jesus to "provoke unto love and good works."

Lose the "I am not comfortable with" and "I just prefer" vibe.

Choose again this weekend to lean into a place with spiritual giftings and ministry obligations that truly stretch/inconvenience you.

This is the way forward with Jesus!

Jn 6:60 "Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?"

What a wonderful Health Family Sunday! God's name was lifted up through worship and we studied God's plan for marriage and parenting. It is such a blessing to hear God's Word taught and see it changing lives.

This is the spirit in which we prayerfully gather again this Sunday! All are welcome!

While the local church should be run "decently and in order," it will never be as compelling and as dynamic as Jesus intended it until is far more than an organization to prop up.

It's time for the ekklesia we lead and support to return to simply being:

A family...
A home...
A hospital.

By God's grace and for His glory, we get this right and we will not have enough capacity to seat and serve all of those that come our way. No need for sale pitches or guilt trips. These profiles of the Gospel incarnate speak on heaven's behalf to the most core needs/desires of every resident on planet earth.

Ep 2:19 "Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;"
