Joshua, Hayden, and Andrew will be interns with us this summer, and Andrew is our newest resident who’ll be at the Medina campus. We couldn’t be more excited to have these guys on the team.

Youth is going ALL IN on our Father’s Day auto show this Sunday morning. Instead of gathering on Sunday evening, come to the car show and bring your dad to church to celebrate Father’s Day!🎉

PHILLY TRAVEL UPDATE:

The team made it home safely! Thank you to everyone who partnered with us throughout the week by praying for us. We saw God do amazing things in and through our students. We’re excited to bring the momentum back home to make a difference for Jesus here in Wayne and Medina Counties!

Today we went to Oasis community church. While we were there we helped clean and prepare the church for their upcoming Sunday service. We also went door to door where we prayed and invited the neighboring people in that community to some community activities and to come to church . After that, we went to Kensington ave again and prayed and handed out water to the homeless people on that street. We then finished by having a fun time going to the Reading Terminal Market and bought snacks and drinks. We then finished off the night by worshipping during team time and then hanging out! ☺️

PHILLY RECAP: DAY 4

We started our day out by handing out VBS invites for Oasis Church. We walked through the surrounding neighborhoods, handed out invites, and stopped to pray with people. Then we headed to Mifflin Park to hang out with the community. We met families, spent time with them, and tried to be a light for Jesus in their community. After our day of serving, we got Philly Cheese Steaks at Pat’s and Geno’s. We are ending our evening with team time and worship!

PHILLY RECAP: DAY 3!

We started the morning with breakfast burritos, then had training for a day of kids ministry. We went to a festival where we helped with the bounce houses and carnival games. During that time, we got to know kids, talked with people about the gospel and Jesus, and even got some free food, which was amazing. We then went to Pastor Lou's church to help unload the trailer. We then heard Pastor Lou's story and he coached us on more ways to share the gospel. After that, we headed out to pray for people in the neighborhood, but lightning and rain forced us to spend much of the time praying from inside the vans. We ended the day with team time, worship, and water ice from Rita's!

Philly Recap: Day 2

We started with day two of training with Rob from Momentum Ministries. Afterwards, we drove to Ocean City's boardwalk and partnered with a ministry called Cru. They trained us on ways to talk to people and spread the gospel. We got a chance to do that and had great conversations with people about faith! Afterwards, we played games on the beach as a team, and then went to dinner. We are ending our night with a team time where we will debrief our day and then worship together!
