With deep regret we announce the passing of David Yurick. His service will be Wednesday at 5:00 PM with visitation beginning at 4:00 PM. His obituary is as follows
David Allen Yurick passed away unexpectedly on Friday August 21, 2026, at his residence at the age of 48.
He was born November 1, 1977, in Akron Ohio.
David worked many jobs over the years, most recently having worked at Speed North America. He enjoyed working and never had a hard time finding a job. He was a fan of most Ohio sports teams, including the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavilers, Cleveland Guardians and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He also liked watching NASCAR when he wasn’t falling asleep during the race. David never met a stranger; he would talk to anyone. Most of all, he enjoyed family time and always looked forward to seeing and spending time with his parents, children and grandchildren whether it was a special occasion, cookout, holiday, sporting event or just to hang out. He was proud of his children and grandchildren and loved them all.
David is survived by his parents Robert ‘Bob’ and Mickie Yurick, grandfather Goliath Cantley, children Sadie Yurick (Steve Radford), Morgan Yurick (Joshua Dawson), Jaden Yurick, and Ireland ‘Millie’ Yurick, grandchildren Amyah Stoudmire, Adrian Stoudmire, Avery Radford, Adaleigh Dawson and Araina Dawson, sister Lisa (John) Ware-Mahoney, and also Anthony Yurick and Isaiah Fetzer whom David considered family.
David has joined his grandparents Steve Yurick, Mary Lance Yurick, Glenna White Cantley, Dorothy Sue Davis Wilson and grandson Ayden Stoudmire in Heaven.
