Recently, our girls got to try their hands at working a bow drill and they did quite well! Also, they made hobo packets around the campfire. Why? Because God answered our prayers and sent new houseparents! Eric and Kara Phillipi bring all kinds of new, outdoor skills and knowledge with them. Also, their son, Montana, and their daughter, Laurel, have all kinds of things to teach and learn. We'll share more about this new family soon, but we know that God is great and provides!

🎂 Happy sweet 16 to Lily! She experienced her first ever meal at The Olive Garden, followed by ice cream cakes - 3 different flavors. 🍰🧁🥳

Jaxson had a wonderful birthday celebration - exactly what he asked for! He enjoyed a lunch with most of our Joy Ranch family, complete with a puppy dog cake and lots of gifts. Thank you to everyone who made his 9th birthday special.

Oh boy, what fun! We enjoyed a slip and slide as part of our end of the school year celebration. Our kids have worked hard this year, and it's time to celebrate!

Thank you to all of our service men and women on this Memorial Day. Each school day, we gather around our flag pole in the circle at Joy Ranch to pray and recite our pledges to the American flag and Bible, taeching our kids what patriotism means.

Jayla turned 13 this week, celebrating with a cake and party in the cottage. She asked Erin, her case manager, to help her with the candles. We are so thankful for her sweet smile, artistic talents, and delicious baking hobby!
