Day 111 of the NT Reading Plan. Today’s assigned scripture is Romans chapter 15.

Today's thoughts:
"Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory." — Romans 15:7

The Standard: Jesus didn't wait for us to become perfect before He accepted us. He welcomed us exactly as we were.

The Command: Because we have received radical grace, we are called to extend that same radical acceptance to the people around us.

The Goal: When a church family chooses unity over judgment, and love over preferences, God gets the glory.

Is there someone you find difficult to get along with? Pray for them today, and ask God to help you see them through His eyes of acceptance.

Day 110 of the NT Reading Plan. Today’s assigned scripture is Romans chapter 14.

Today's thoughts:
"For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." — Romans 14:17

Ditch the Minor Details: It is easy to get caught up in arguments over preferences, traditions, or minor theological differences.

The Real Focus: God’s Kingdom isn't about rules regarding external things. It is about a heart transformed by God.

The Big Three: True faith produces right living (righteousness), a quiet heart (peace), and an unstoppable gladness (joy).

Day 109 of the NT Reading Plan. Today’s assigned scripture is Romans chapter 13.

Today's thoughts:
"Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh." — Romans 13:14

Daily Preparation: Just like we choose our physical outfits every morning, we must intentionally choose our spiritual wardrobe.

Wearing His Character: To "clothe ourselves in Christ" means stepping out into the world wearing His kindness, His patience, His humility, and His strength.

The Best Defense: When we are covered in Jesus, there is simply no room left for negativity, anger, or selfish desires to take over.

Prayer: Jesus, we clothe ourselves in You today. May people see Your love in our actions, hear Your grace in our words, and feel Your peace in our presence. Amen.

Day 108 of the NT Reading Plan. Today’s assigned scripture is Romans chapter 12.

Today's thoughts:
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." — Romans 12:2

The World's Noise: The world constantly pressures us to fit into its mold of worry, comparison, and negativity.

God's Refresh: God invites us to step away from that mold and let Him completely renew how we think from the inside out.

Today's Shift: When you change your thoughts to match God's promises, your entire perspective shifts.

Reflection Question: What is one negative thought you need to hand over to God today so He can renew your mind?

Our memory verse for June 2026 is from Proverbs 9:10 ESV.

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight."

Day 107 of the NT Reading Plan. Today’s assigned scripture is Romans chapter 11.

Today's thoughts:
Verse 33 "Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!"

We do not always need to understand God fully to trust His heart. When life feels confusing or unpredictable, Romans 11 reminds us that His wisdom is infinitely deeper than our current circumstances. You can rest today knowing He has a master plan that is perfectly on track.

Day 106 of the NT Reading Plan. Today’s assigned scripture is Romans chapter 10.

Today's thoughts:
"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." — Romans 10:9

Our faith is not meant to be kept secret. God connects our inner belief with our outer voice. Speaking your faith out loud transforms your life and invites others into His grace. Who can you share His love with today?

Day 105 of the NT Reading Plan. Today’s assigned scripture is Romans chapter 9.

Today's thoughts:
We have moved from the battle of Romans 7 and the victory of Romans 8 into a deeper, awe-inspiring space in Romans 9.

In this chapter, Paul wrestles with God's big plan. He highlights a truth that can be hard for our human minds to wrap around: God is entirely sovereign, and His choices are rooted in His divine mercy. Paul writes, "It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy." (Romans 9:16).

This can actually bring our hearts incredible peace. It means: God’s plans do not fail when we make mistakes. Salvation and grace are gifts, not things we must earn. We can trust the Potter even when we do not understand the clay's shaping.

When the world feels chaotic, or our prayers seem unanswered, Romans 9 reminds us that God is still on the throne. He is good, He is just, and He is completely in control.

We do not need to have all the answers. We just need to trust the One who does.
