Friends!! It’s been great seeing new faces donating at the Fridge! We wish we could thank all of you in person (maybe you’ll come to our 1st year anniversary later in the year? Stay tuned!).

As it is going to be intolerably hot for at least the next 10 days, please continue to bring water and frozen treats if you’re able! We get a lot of folks that come at night when it’s still blistering hot outside. Many don’t have AC or are living outside. They have been freezing the water bottle in our freezer- which is great!

The vegetables have been moving thanks to a lot of new visitors this month. For those visitors that aren’t cooking, handhelds like sandwiches, cheese sticks, yogurts, and waters are awesome. We have been saving our take out forks and knives to put in the fridge to help too.

Interested in putting some meals in but don’t know where to start? We have containers we can drop off to you and are happy to help with ideas if you or your group (church, girls and Boy Scouts, fraternal organizations, sports teams, kids who need community service hours) want to do a sandwich making event, or a big pasta or chicken cook-in! Message us here!

Lastly keep up the great work! No one deserves to be hungry.

We hope that you join us, city and state elected officials, religious leaders, WMHS students and staff, and other community members this Friday, June 5 at 10 AM on Woburn Common for the annual Day ceremony and proclamation reading, where we honor victims and uplift survivors of in Woburn and nationwide.
