We were very happy to welcome Bishop Dr. Ernest Obodo, Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Enugu, Nigeria, to the Collaborative this weekend! Bishop Obodo is both Fr. Edmund and Father Paschal’s bishop and he celebrated the 4 PM Mass at St. Anthony on Saturday and the 9:30 AM Mass at St. Barbara on Sunday. He has a wonderful farm project back in Nigeria. Thank you to everyone who donated to it and if you would like to donate, you still can! Thank you Bishop Obodo, we are grateful you could join us here at the Woburn Catholic Collaborative this weekend!

As we begin a new month, Pope Leo XIV has a very specific prayer intention for the month of September which is "for the care of water," and the following prayer reminds us of the importance of water for everyone throughout the world...although not everyone in the world may have easy access to it. 🙏💧

At today’s 9:30 AM Mass at St. Barbara, members of the Nigerian community brought up the Offertory gifts of bread and w**e (as well as many other gifts) in a Mass of Thanksgiving and then received a blessing from Fr. Edmund 🙏 🙏
