From Jim Collie who had planned to share today's sermon but the weather didn't cooperate.... "Good morning, Gladeville friends 😀 The lectionary passages for today’s worship this 4th Sunday after Epiphany are Micah 6:1-8 and Matthew 5:1-12. Micah and Jesus are your preachers today. I will only make one comment on what Jesus says. As a child I watched a children’s program called Romper Room. There were 2 characters called “Do Bee” and Don’t 🐝 “ We often speak of the Words of Jesus as the Beatitudes meaning the blessings. I think of these verses as the “be” attitudes . Love and Godspeed and be warm, Jim 🙏❤️"

A special worship service this evening which concludes the season of Advent! Special thanks to those in our church family who participated in the readings throughout the season. We are deeply grateful to the Rev. Jim Collie who again shared part of his birthday with us by leading our Christmas Eve service. We love you, Jim! Merry Christmas to all!
