Taco Thursday, anyone? Yes, we do things differently at The Table. We will sit at the dinner table with you and listen while we share food and faith. We will help as we can, and as you desire. We are one community, one family, and together we will move forward! It all starts with sharing dinner together.

An area in southeastern Kentucky once left barren by strip mining has been transformed into grassland and forest. Native plants were planted and wild elk reintroduced. What was once a wasteland is now alive again—providing recreation, opportunity, and new life where there had been little hope.

Our past does not determine how Jesus sees us. What feels barren or broken in our lives can be reclaimed. Jesus can plant seeds of hope and bring new spiritual life when all hope is gone.

This Thursday evening at The Table, come for tacos and experience hope. Enjoy a genuine welcome, and hear another story about how much Jesus cares about you—and wants you to experience abundant life with Him.

A branch doesn’t have to struggle to produce fruit. It simply needs to remain connected to the vine. In the same way, when we stay connected to Jesus, He remains with us, and our lives can become a blessing to others.

Have you ever gotten in the wrong line and realized you weren’t going where you hoped? Some who followed Jesus were in the wrong line, too. They wanted another meal, but Jesus offered them something far greater—the nourishment that gives eternal life.
Jesus gives us more than food for our bodies. He fills us with the grace and mercy of God.

This week, we were asked to think about what we have to be thankful for. Being thankful isn’t always easy. But gratitude keeps our hearts focused on the eternal rather than temporary problems. Being thankful isn’t pretending that everything is good; it’s trusting that God is with us, even when the world isn’t.

Come to The Table this week where you can find something to be thankful for; a delicious roast pork (or chicken) dinner, friendly conversation, good music and more stories about how much Jesus loves and cares for each of us.
