This weekend we are at Taylor Correctional Facility visiting Elijah. I’m so thankful to be able to visit once a month. We get an extra day because of the holiday this week. Time stands still behind these walls. Every day is the same. The violence in prison is unbearable. The stories we hear will never be heard outside the walls and most would not believe anyway. The entire system NEEDS The Gospel from the top to the bottom. I would be the first to admit it is hard to be any kind of light in such a dark place. But God even uses our presence here. I can’t explain it. But they know!!! Jesus shines through even when we can’t feel Him. So we choose to Praise Him in this storm for we KNOW He is working. Thank you to all that have prayed and supported us.

Rom 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Rom 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Rom 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
Rom 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Rom 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God,

Today we were at Campbell City Baptist Church. Gave a mission report and provided pulpit supply Wednesday and today for all services. What a precious church with a sweet spirit. We are making so many new friends serving The Lord.

Last night we were down at South County Jail. We had 10 in attendance. Bro Shane lead the music and sang a special. This has greatly improved the whole experience. I never give a traditional invitation but ALWAYS present a clear message of The Gospel. But sometimes they just cry out to be saved. And that was the case last night. After the dismissal prayer 2 stayed behind. I love it when this happens. We thank you for your prayer and support. God is still changing lives.

We were back down at South County Jail tonight. They buzzed us in and we sat in the room for an hour and a half. Bro. Shane and myself checked a few times and they said they would send them out but they never came. We fellowshipped together and still had a great time. We will try again next week.

Last night we were back down at the South County Jail. Bro Shane lead the music and gave his testimony, it was powerful. The men related well, I preached a message and the gospel was shared. Once again we were able to stay for two hours.

Tonight I volunteered at the Polk County Juvenile Detention Center. I’m working with 2 young men. 1 will age out soon. I’m praying I can still minister with him in the adult jail. Tonight I explained the fall of man. And how God made a way for us to be reconciled with Him. I’m thankful I serve The God of second chances.

Last night I volunteered at The Polk County Juvenile Detention Center. I had 2 young men in class. The group I work are being tried as adults. It’s amazing how God goes before us! God continues to use our story to reach people. Going through the system and Elijah’s story has given us a knowledge of prison life. Mentoring and God’s word are being used.

Wow! What a night down at the South County Jail. Full house. The Gospel unfiltered, unapologetic.

Act 16:29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,
Act 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
Act 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Last night we were in the South County Jail. We had 15 in attendance. I was able to stay 2 hours. Everyone in class had a Bible. This is a first. The men seem to be genuinely excited to be taught from the word of God we thank you for your prayers and support for this ministry. God is continuing to bless.

Tonight I was down in the South County Jail. There were 17 men. Bro. Shane led the singing. Amazing Grace in jail has a completely different feel, I wish you could see and hear it! I’m still amazed how God continues to show up past the block and steal. Nothing is to hard for God! No one is too lost! Jesus STILL SAVES!!!
