This Friday, June 5th is FIRST FRIDAY. Holy MASS and ANNOINTING is at 9:00A.M. followed by ADORATION until 10:45 A.M. Every FIRST FRIDAY at St Cyril's during MASS the Anointing of the faithful takes place and I wish to make it known it is a very moving experience. We all need healing in Mind, Body, or Spirit. If you can make it you should.
After MASS the Church is open for Adoration until 11:00 A.M. Come and go as you please. We all need healing, come before the Lord. Sacred Heart of Jesus I place all my trust in you!

Today the Diocese Of Altoona Johnstown Celebrated its 125th Anniversary at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Altoona. Parishioners from SS Cyril and Methodius, St Elizabeth Ann Seton, and St Anthony of Padua accompanied Fr Larry Lacovic to this joyful celebration.

On a side note a piece of Windbers heart is a permanent fixture at the Cathedral, the Mary Statue from the side Altar of the former Holy Child Jesus Church resides there and is used for May Crowning yearly.

Even though the weather is gloomy out our parish grounds are brightened up with flowers. Thank you to parishioners Jean Hudak for donating the flowers and to Karen Cominsky for helping to plant them.

May -13 Our Lady of Fatima Pray for us

“O Most Holy Virgin Mary, Queen of the most holy Rosary, you were pleased to appear to the children of Fatima and reveal a glorious message. We implore you, inspire in our hearts a fervent love for the recitation of the Rosary. By meditating on the mysteries of the redemption that are recalled therein may we obtain the graces and virtues that we ask, through the merits of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen”
