A little flashback to Holy Saturday (Jerusalem Matins, morning prayer) unedited. The hymn recounts all the perspectives of witnesses of the Crucifixion, from Joseph of Arimathea, Nicodemus, the Virgin Mary and the women, to the angels and the very earth itself trembling under the weight of Christ our God's passion.

Parishioners and guests have been asking about building an online presence. Liturgical prayer is best in-person, it is the joining of our voices, not just spectating. The very stones of a church provide a sense of the presence of God's kingdom: walls of a kingdom that cannot be overcome, and we've survived two floods to prove it.

This past weekend, The Sunday of the Samaritan Woman, the woman at the well goes into the town telling people, "Come see the man who told me everything I've ever done. Truly he is the Messiah." Sharing a photo or a hymn of the beauty of our faith can invite people to come and see. Come and see the place where we see God every Sunday. Christ is Risen!
