Unfortunately, scammers often target unsuspecting people. If you get an email, always check the actual email address it's from. Yet again, there's a fake gift-card scheme going on.

If you're ever unsure of a donation, you can always mail or just drop things off at the parish office. That way there's no chance it goes to the wrong place.

We wanted to offer a little bit of clarification. Earlier this week, the Mayor posted a video suggesting that there would be a public forum meeting at St Patrick Church.

The meeting was never intended to be at the Church, as we wouldn't have a meeting of that sort inside the sanctuary. It was a miscommunication by some people unrelated to our parish who confused the location with the previous prayer vigil on the steps a few weeks ago.

The actual public forum will be held this Sunday, June 7th at 3:30PM at First Summit Arena. There will be a gathering of public officials who will have a public forum and Q&A with the general public. We certainly encourage any city residents or interested people to attend.

Thanks to everyone who came along on our Sight and Sound Trip Yesterday! Joshua was a wonderful show. Next year, we'll be planning another trip for Jonah!

Three years ago, there was a shooting on the same street as our Church and we held a prayer vigil for the family and for peace in our city. This week we had another. We were also saddened to hear it was the relative of a parishioner. Please join us at 730pm next Thursday as we pray with the families of the victims of these recent tragedies.
