The story isn’t over… and neither is your hope.

We’re celebrating the hope we have this Easter—April 5th—because Jesus is risen.
Because if He didn’t rise… we couldn’t trust any of His promises.

But if it’s true that He rose on the third day—
we can trust it all.
Forgiveness. Healing. New life. Joy with Him.

Join us at 9:30 or 11:00 at FBC Wimberley.

If you already have a church, we’re grateful you do—go be there.
But if it’s been a while, or you’re thinking about coming back, you are welcome here.

We’d love to see you Sunday.

A look back at last week’s senior adult trip to East Texas.

From learning the history of rail at the Texas Railroad Heritage Center, to visiting the site of one of the earliest Baptist churches in Texas, to sharing meals and conversations along the way—it was a full couple of days. The highlight for many was the train ride through the East Texas countryside, with dogwoods in bloom and plenty of time to slow down and enjoy it together.

Grateful for this group and the time shared. Take a look through a few moments from the trip.

It feels like God should have stepped in by now.

With everything happening in the world… the brokenness, the chaos, the weight of it all. Why does it seem like He’s waiting?

But what if His delay isn’t absence… it’s mercy?

Scripture shows us that God’s timing is not careless—it’s compassionate.
Every moment He holds back is another chance for hearts to turn.

That means the waiting isn’t wasted. It’s filled with purpose.

It changes how we wait:
Not passively, but prayerfully.
Not distracted, but aware.
Not putting things off, but turning toward Him now.

And it changes how we live. With urgency, with surrender, with eyes open to the people around us who need the same grace we’ve been given.

So the question isn’t just why is He waiting?
It’s… what are we doing with the time He’s giving?

Before you keep scrolling, would you pray for our pastors and elders today?

They’ve invited our church family to join them in fasting and prayer as they seek the Lord’s direction for the future of our church.

“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” – Psalm 127:1

Pray that the Lord would give wisdom, unity, and clear guidance as they follow Him.

When asked about their greatest hope for their children you would think that many Christian parents would say they want their kids to follow Jesus, but most actually say a good education.

Scripture gives us a different picture of what matters most. “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” — 3 John 4

As parents and families, we all want to use the time we have well. Family Life Weekend is a chance to pause, refocus, and think together about how we can bring the gospel into our homes and point our kids to Jesus in everyday life.

We’d love for you to join us!

Our hope isn’t in being good enough.
Our hope is in Jesus.

He was declared innocent… yet He took our place.
The cross means our guilt isn’t the end of our story.
Grace is.

And if you’ve never trusted Him, what better day than today?
Turn to Jesus. Receive His grace. Follow Him.
