WHAT IF GOD DOESN'T DELIVER YOU?

God doesn't always respond with a direct deliverance in our lifetime.

You may be facing something right now, and God may not necessarily deliver you fully from your current situation.

Consider the Jews of Jesus's time.

They were looking for a political messiah, a military leader who would deliver them from Rome.

But is that what they got? No.

See, Jesus came to deliver them from their greater enemy, and that enemy was their own sin.

So here's the timeless principle: God has an eternal view, and He's looking all the way through eternity.

Our circumstances, the things we're going through right now, are of great importance to us.
But God is more concerned with our eternal destiny than our present circumstances.

Weird. These People Were Different....

His wife’s sister invited them out to California for Christmas and he went bracing for the “holy rollers.” Instead, she and her family quietly prayed, brought them along to church, and let a pastor sit down on New Year’s Eve and start talking. 40 years later, he’s still telling the story.

✨This Sunday - The God Who Turns Sorrow into Joy✨

This week, we’re concluding the epic story we in the Book of Esther.

We are a forgetful people. We tend to remember our pain more readily than God’s faithfulness. We remember wounds, fears, disappointments, and losses, but quickly forget the ways God has sustained and delivered us. If we’re not careful, we’ll misinterpret God’s mercy and blessings as mere coincidence rather than His hidden hand at work in our lives. As we study this final part of the Book of Esther, we learn the importance of the word “remember.”

Read Esther 9:20 to the end of Esther to prepare for this Sunday’s message.

GROWTH TAKES TIME

The principle of sowing and reaping is hardwired into creation. God built it in.

Whatever you sow, you reap. Not immediately. Later. And what comes up always comes up more than what you planted.

You sow an apple seed, you get a whole apple tree. You sow a tomato seed, you get a vine.

The hard part is the waiting. Don't dig it up the next morning to see if it's working.

Keep watering. Keep trusting. God is the One who makes it grow.

So be careful what you're planting in your life right now.

Because whatever it is, you'll reap a whole harvest of it.

God sees everything. No good thing goes unnoticed. You may think no one notices, but God does.
