The Lord wants us to have abundant life now. Religion has us looking and waiting for heaven, when the Lord wants us to have heaven now. So many times believers talk about how hard life is. But as believers, life isn't supposed to be hard all the time. The Word says it's hard for the transgressor.
We must do away with the mentality that the more we suffer, the holier we are. The Lord said we have overcome this world. Since Jesus has overcome, then we have overcome also — because He abides in us, and we in Him.
It's important for us to look for the positive things in life. The climax of our lives cannot be "woe is me" every day. We are equipped for victory. This is why the Word tells us we are more than conquerors through Him who strengthens us (Romans 8:37).
Be the Word!
