His Word gives us direction when we’re lost, strength when we’re weak, peace when our minds are overwhelmed, and faith when we can’t see our way out.

Tonight, we’re going into the Word to discover what God says about surviving the waters, rising above what is trying to overwhelm us, and allowing His Word to become our lifeline.

SUNDAY SERVICE RECAP | Perfect Love Drives Out Fear ❤️

This morning, Bishop Bruce V. Parham Sr. reminded us that perfect love casts out fear—but there is a deeper dimension to that truth:

We can only trust God to the degree that we truly love Him.

When you are genuinely in love with someone, you don’t constantly question their intentions. You trust their heart. You trust their character. You trust them with your heart, your vulnerability, and your future.

And that is the kind of relationship God desires with us.

Jesus tells us to love God with all our heart, all our mind, all our soul, and all our strength. When our love for God becomes wholehearted, our trust in Him begins to mature.

We stop saying, “God, I’ll trust You if You do it my way.”

Instead, we can say:

“God, I trust You because I know You love me. I may not understand what You’re doing, but I trust Your heart.”

That is where fear begins to lose its grip.

The deeper our love for God becomes, the deeper our trust becomes. And the deeper our trust becomes, the less power fear has to keep us paralyzed.

Fall completely in love with God. Trust Him completely. And let perfect love drive out fear.

What a powerful reminder from this morning’s message! 🙏🏾
